Yeah, Sam's tune are very conservative to keep you in the safe range. I was at 400whp with Sam's tune and was working on a custom tune last year when my clutch was slipping so we were losing power...

Depends on the tune and the tuner. Depends on his comfort level. There's always more power in it if you take out some fuel and add in some timing. Also, Sam doesn't usually adjust the fan duty cycles...

A lot of it just has to do with economies of scale. If a co partners with a mass distributor or overseas manufacturer, they can afford to mass produce exhaust parts on the cheap, buying bulk...
