:iagree: Nissan is cheap and they won't replace them with new ones since it is only cosmetic.... Please do try if you want, but it will likely be a waste of time.

These things chip so easy it is not funny. I had no issues with my gray 2012 calipers, but my red 2013 calipers chipped very easily during a brake pad install. Not sure how I did it but it happened.

On a 11 month old car I would insist they replace the calipers with new ones. I would not settle for anything less and am surprised they have taken this stance.
