I am curious. Im the one working on the IPOD->Bluetooth adapter from thread:

Being that you are apple developers, I was wondering if you would be able to assist me. I have been able to extract the commands that the Z IPOD adapter is sending out. I can decode and generate responses to almost all of them thanks to this resource:

One command that is giving me trouble is Advanced Remote Command (mode 4) 0x00 0x0C.
For example, when an IPOD is plugged in, at some point the car sends:
FF 55 0A 04 00 0C 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 E6
and
FF 55 0A 04 00 0C 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 E4

and the IPOD responds:
FF 55 0E 04 00 0D 00 00 00 00 04 00 02 E5 D6 00 00 20
and
FF 55 0C 04 00 0D 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 E1
respectively.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what this is. Is this information you have access too? Or maybe a more complete documentation of the Apple Accessory protocol? I would appreciate any help you could offer!

Took the Z out shopping with the girlfriend (mainly to put miles on it for break in, 650 miles now!) then brought it home for a bath.

Hi, I just wanted to share a ipad mini installed in my 2014 nismo. I hated that cubby hole .

Grocery shopping. I still surprise myself at how much food actually fits in the back of the Z.

You own a Z. Do the work yourself. Don't let a bunch of $10hr techs mess with your 30k car.

Changed the oil today, man was it dirty.

Biggest problem seems to be the Z's attraction to bricks and the wheel's love to roll off to craig's list.

I've only had it a week now, so today I got some window tint and installed new door speakers, along with amp. Tomorrow, I'll be installing a Berk CBE.

Gave the Z a thorough interior cleaning including vacuuming, using Chemical Guys Natural Finish detailer on the dash and plastic panels, and taking a microfiber rag soaked in Microfiber wash all over...
