Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

To install a TT on this platform with the engine in is a nightmare. Why anyone would recommend installing this kit with the motor in is weird to me. You COULD do it but why take the hardest route...

That sucks, on my g35 with the gt35r turbo I put down 420 on a mustang and my MAF held up fine.. Guess it's all luck.

Yea stock MAFs should be fine up until around 600. I'm running stock MAF and I'm at 534. No problems at all here
