Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

These kits will also be available at a shop near you :) :) There has been about 5 shops that have contacted me directly and have expressed a great amount of interest for being/obtaining dealer...

Only one way to find out. Pony up the money for the kit and give it a shot. That's what I did. Nobody knew if it would fit a G37 so I took a gamble. The answer was yes, with a little modification.

Not sure what this means, just wondering if there's any news on the hood modification. I haven't been up to date on this thread, but I assume you got flack for being concerned about the hood...
