I had my top recently replaced by Fontana Nissan. I was told the same thing about the soft top fabric needing to "stretch" for a month and I need to soak it in water and leave it under sun. Currently the top doesn't close by itself because the pins can't seem to reach the latches in the front without applying manual pressure.
How was yours resolved? Did it stretch out by itself? Or did you have to do something else?
