About my dash mounted Tomtom:
I purchased a wiring harness that ties in with the fuse box. I ran it behind the dash and drilled a hole inside the compartment on the top, so you can't see it, and fed the wire through. I then bought a mount for the Tomtom and screwed it in to the top of the compartment. It was pretty easy, but I have come to HATE my Tomtom and plan to replace it with a Garmin.
