Good luck with your project op! While I would not do this to my z, there's no right or wrong when it comes to personal preference. Some people prefer spicy food while some prefer sweets. As some others have previously stated, do what makes you happy.

welcome to the internets bro... can't handle a little bit of banter.. then you probably don't belong on the web.. secondly.. you aren't the first or only wide body Z.. Mike Mixon did this years ago...

so... sorry you have according to the community of your peers, bad taste.. but then again, im not sorry...

how do you people handle the real world.. it's so much more than the nets.. :bowrofl:

I think this has gone on long enough from the Peanut Gallery

Lets try to keep the discussion to questions and compliments IF any.

This is definitely NOT my taste, But more Powah to you OP :ugh2:

If you don't mind saying (pm me if u want) what was a ballpark price for your whole air ride setup, minus the coils.

This is an original build for sure.. reminds me of a 240 build a while back.. only custom metal wide body I know of. How long are they anticipating it being in the shop? Do you have the e-level kit? Sorry for all the questions just curious

Build is coming along nice, are you planning any custom additions to the bumpers or just widen them?

Your build is coming along great! reminds me of my all metal wide body done by DTM Autobody in socal. Those guys did a killer job on mine!

We went 2" on either side in the front and ~3-4" in the rear either side... All purpose built.

Zbrah 05-13-2014 03:16 PM

Awesome car. Is ths the infamous 1000hp Z? I came late in the game so I missed your build. Was there a built journal posted?

So.. why did you photoshop so many pictures in your first few posts to make your car look like it's tucking wheel in the rear?

Okay, so where in here does it answer the question on why the car was photoshopped lower lol. Spoilering most of the images;

I may be wrong, but a few pictures the car is tucking wheel/lip where in every single other picture there is a noticeable amount of tire showing. Also from the picture the rear quarter panel looks badly erased in photoshop, as it doesn't line up with the rear bumper at all and some things around the bottom of the car look feathered out. Just a simple question lol didn't mean to make a big deal out of it, but I photoshop a bunch of stuff and those are the common things I use/see.

Other than that, nicely done build

Camcam1616 05-19-2014 01:25 AM

No I am tucking wheel after the air install. On certain surfaces depending on the angle it won't tuck as much.

Not sure what's not to like, if nissan made it 3 inches wider from the factory it'd look like this. Awesome work, can't wait to see the finished product!
