Jar, I agree with you, trust me it is silly, but the fact Is that everyone has different opinions and that's the only point I'm making. Me personally, I don't drive stock looking cars, I look at the body and trust me the Z has a very sexy one indeed, but I look for what I can do with it before I buy it. My car was stock for a couple of weeks before I started modding because that's just me and how I've always been with cars. Rims and suspension have to go immediately, but that's just me.

Mr. Peanut? Are you speaking to yourself. Sure seems like it. As for examples of modded cars, just peruse this site. There are plenty of examples. 75% of your C&C cars are modded? That's awful. I think 80-90% are stock at the Scottsdale C&C, and all $200k+, but the Z's still get the heads to turn, even if the old rich ***** wouldn't buy one. ATL C&C must be a bust. |

my C&C is the same and my Z pulls a crowd and cameras whenever I come in........oh yea by JC's standards i'm "stock" soooo yea there's that too :bowrofl: |

Pff a Z turns heads even in Dubai.
I cant believe this is even an argument EDIT : EVEN A STOCK Z |
It's semantics. Stock is stock is stock. Modded is modded is modded. But there are different levels of each.
Just like turning heads means turning heads. But it can be good or bad. |
Just because its a Z!!!
My head turns like this! http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...1/agscary4.gif |

you do realize we are not saying anything about NOT modding cars right? it was a comparison of scene vs scene. and everyone in here for the most part has a modded car.....you realize that right? :shakes head: |

This thread is one hell of a train wreck. :bowrofl: Opinions are like eyeballs. Everyone has 2. First opinion. OP has spent a lot of money on something that he likes. That's fine with me. It's his money. Opinion 2. Would I do a widebody like him. No. I would do it so that I could do trackdays with it. More of form and function guy.

This build has been followed from beginning to end.
The Op picked this place to share his build as well as numerous other places like social media. Op has got his ATTENTION! to his build and while its not for everybody The majority of people here are in favor and appreciate the amount of work and expense it took But the wheel/tire selection for something to be used on public roads and the potential hazard this will cause if God forbid something were to go wrong is just something that cant be ignored. I see no reason to continue to be having to deal with the constant reports about this particular build and thats unfortunate And I can only come to the conclusion that this type of look is something thats not going to be readily accepted and with that Im wrapping this up. I would like to wish the Op best of luck continuing to show off his build. THE END. |
