i totally agree with you... in time my good man.... one thing i have learned the hard way is.... i tend to rush things.... with my z before i use to buy things that to me were close enough to the best thing... NOW i only want the best things so that i cannot want more than what i have already... having said this i will definitely go for a aggressive set up.... i just havent totally decided on the rims and on top of that the money aint quite there yet.... originally i wanted the SSR mesh style... i forgot the model number or the work meisters man both of those wheels are absolutely gorgeous hands down.... my only complain is the up keep.... lets be honest here cleaning those tiny rivets suck major ****... when i still had my volks... i hated that part so freaking bad.... it killed me that i sat on each rim using a q tip to painstakingly clean those damn rivets... on top of that... with the weather conditions out here i noticed my friends who own these brand wheels with polished lips always have problems with those spiders or those whitesh imperfections forming under the clear of the rims.... i dont want that to happen to me it would drive me nuts..... i also like to clean the barrel of the rims.... with my old volks i would pull them off once a month to clean the barrel... the next set of wheels i get i DONT want to do that.... i just want it accessible while they are on my z....

HOWEVER if i had really really deep pockets i would get the work meisters none the less and use them only once a blue moon type of thing and leave them in my living room to drool at everyday... :tup: but that will never happen :bowrofl: because my other half will strangle me in my sleep :roflpuke2:

Cool! I must agree that the cleaning thing is a major concern for me now. My Volks GT30's were very hard to clean. If I were to do it again, looks and design would be paramount in my mind.

Yeah cleaning my gs4s and the gt-30s I had were both a b!tch. How about something like the work emotion cr ultimate, hot cheap-ish and easy to clean like stock wheels.

so i just realized something.... thank you japanese website for making me feel like a dumass.... so when i first installed my r1 titan brace in the rear... i thought to myself... wow it looks so ugly how the hooks are right on the top? thats why deep down inside i said i should just got the one without the holes... so here i am looking for more jdm crap and i come across this... the person did a review on them.... and i laughed... because it made me realize i installed my brace WRONG... center the bar...make sure the mounting tubes are mounting FLAT and not tilted... clamp those bad boys down.... and take a drill to them like boss... after that... replace the bolts with grade 8 bolts... dont drill the holes TOO big... just enough so the grade 8 bolts will go through... lastly the sandwhich plates that go on top of the bar to mount... you will have to flip them.... since there is no holes where there should be holes so that you can mount them correctly and the welded nuts on the mounts wont be in the way anymore...

i have a plan how to paint the rear bumper differently so it doesnt looked chopped off in the diffuser area... :tup: let hope everything works out i believe that rear bumper put together with the amuse r1 titan will look AMAZING... the front bumper i am still not convinced i know which one to pick

I think you'll need a GT wing with the rear bumper to make sense, maybe not the over the top ABflug, but something aggressive for sure.

i do realize that the amuse sides look pretty much like the top secret sides... but you already know how i am with top secret sides... the ones i am tryna get is full carbon too... so it would be pretty kool if i did a partial paint/carbon accent and remove my stripes....and they look a lil bit more wider than the amuse :tup: just look at this equation... and your one of my good friends on here bro so you know how i am... :roflpuke2:

thank you so much man... do you know that i have been looking night and day for a picture od a solid red abflug rear? its been about 2 weeks... when i was imagining it in my mind with the "paint scheme" i was planning... it look really really good.... BUT after seeing it in pictures and imagining it on it :icon14: i dont think i will pull it off..... the rear looks like to busy in the color red... i think it suits darker colored cars... ie the gun metal/black/and even the Montery blue

i already knew deep in my heart the sides and front of that kit was definitely not for me... but at the same time i was really really hoping the rear would have pulled it off....

and again thank you everyone for there feedback... this is what i really appreciate on this forum... imagine if i got those top secret aerocatches.... thanks for knocking some sense into my brain once in a while ;)

I think you can pull it off if you black out the rear diffuser part and the vent accent part. That will break up all the busy-ness as it were.

gonna be honest the only thing slightly intriguing on that red Z is the hood... id be interested in info on that.

i really appreciate it man... i do realize the rear is really really aggressive and has big *** holes in 80 percent of the bumper :roflpuke2: i guess thats why most people dont like it... the honest truth why i was considering it was it actually grew on me... after looking at 2theextremes bumper... i really really fell in love with it.. but after seeing it in red.... :ugh2: i am unsure now lol.... another main reason i wanted to do abflug was have you guys ever heard of a abflug rep? :roflpuke2: i think its so rare that they will never come out with a replica.... which is what im shooting for.... same goes with the top secret sides... they are rare and have no replicas out and i am hoping that they dont ever come out with TS side skirt replicas... that would make me mad lol and i am unsure if the TS sides are discontinued as much of there parts are already discontinued...

i also realize the mines wing would look absolutely puny with that rear.. thats why i was going to get the ing's gt wing at the same time.... however....i got the word out that my mines was for sale locally.... 700 comes with sport wing we swap hatches :tup: cheap right? but no dice not a single interested prospector.... i think the biggest problem is that most people here arent as hard core with jdm... and would rather get reps... which is fine with me... but gets frustrating because when i sell things no matter how badass of a deal they are getting... they act like they are getting ripped off :shakes head:

my second option for a wing was the varis gt wing.... its definitely different because it looks like a varis wing with another wing stacked on top of it.. but i think its one of those things you gotta see in person to appreciate... truthfully when i first ordered my varis hood i wasnt happy because i really wanted the top secret hood to complete my top secret theme..... however i got qouted 4.5k (shipped) with a wonderful 60-90day wait on the hood... this was a little steep for me... so i opted for varis since it was a little bit cheaper and had the rain gutters.... when it arrived i absolutely freaking loved it... how it looks in person is definitely different from the pics.... :happydance: so i think i would have been the same for the rear gt wing

indeed my man... the underside is as gorgeous as the varis.... i got qouted like 3 grand for it with a 60-90 day wait and almost 1.5k to ship to guam.... thats when i knew i couldnt do that LOL... exactly just like the top secret titan exhaust.... they qouted me like 10k for the exhuast with the y pipe.. this type of TS exhaust had the electronic valve so you could adjust the sound of it.. which is awesome but its to much... as much as i support JDM... thats to much for my pockets....

I know I'll be flamed for this but I love the abflug rear bumper. When I saw 2theextreme's it really stood out to me and has something about it that makes it look so awesome. It looks really JDM. Sim I think the red actually looks good and slight black accenting would look good as well. Go with what you think looks best, cause in the end, it's your car :tup:

Someone needs to photo shop the areas black as mentioned. I agree the rear is out there, but for some reason I like it. Loved it on Tonys car got kind of excited when you said you were going for it. Another one of my favorites is the Central 20 kit, which is my back up if a lot of Zele reps start popping up.
