so we worked on my z today.... and guess what it WAS the master.... man the clutch feels so new again.... real smooth..... :D anyways i think i know why it gave out... all im gonna say is if you didnt bleed ur clutch fluid yet BLEED IT!!!! there was so much crap in my lines and master it was ridiculous.... we did a gravity bleed first and then we went crazy bleeding all the black stuff out... we went through about half the bottle of some synthetic DOT4 then bleed it again with some MOTUL RBF 600 good stuff.... i was gonna install the clutch SS line but i decided to hold off until my TWM SS comes in well do it again and rebleed the system to make sure all that crap is outa the system... i was really suprised with how much dirt was in there at 10k.... my company trucks put this car to shame.... they have more than 40k on them and the clutch fluids arent as dirty as the Z :shakes head: anyways changing it out wasnt to bad... i did have a hell of time fitting under my dash..... ive never experienced so much flexibility in my entire life.... those two nuts are high up in there and pretty much so much crap blocking it from either side including this massive plate thing. I dont even know what the point of that plate blocking the two nuts were for.... a swivel is definitely ur best friend on this one.... :) anyways looks like i dodged the bullet.... so back to modding for the Z!!!! :D

LMBmikeZ 03-09-2013 06:48 AM

That's awesome bro, glad you got things fixed up

simota1 03-09-2013 02:54 PM

simota1 03-10-2013 04:58 AM

so my silicone cap offs finally came in last week and since my dad is off island i got some free time on my hands... i did a throttle body coolant delete mod... basically it warms up your throttle body so it dont freeze shut during winter.... it never gets cold on guam and i really would like to eliminate as much useless crap there is in our engine bay so this was one of them

http://sphotos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...23948519_n.jpg

http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...82058272_n.jpg

the demon hose between the firewall and block wasnt as horrible as i would have imagined..... it did however take me about 30 mins to tighten the stupid hose clamp down there.... and my hand was cramping from the akward position i had to be in to tighten it... you absolutely cannot see wth your tightening but other than that everything is easy as pie.... i opted for silicon caps over rubber ones because they last longer  and silicone is the way to go  if anyone is interested i can post a link where i got it....

here is the link to WSTAR DIY

so enough with the boring mods and lets get the ball rolling with some real JDM hotness.... there is a show coming up... and im thinking of entering extreme JDM.... since my clutch ordeal was dodged im thinking of getting a special JDM item for the show... ive contacted my buddy and followed up with the top secret parts.... :( well no update with my brackets or my titan cans.... im not to optimistic about it arriving on time.....they did say 2months so i cant blame them, i am bummed though.... i told him that i want and need something crazy jdm... he sent me a picture of some craftsquare mirrors i told him for that price i dont think its something that someone would particularly realize and notice.... he then sent me a pic of this and i flipped....

http://www.zeal-performance.com/medi...ar_01jpg_1.jpg

he says

"There are two types of Chitanba.
Type 1
Hooks can be fixed with a full harness seat belt
Type 2
Fashion titanium bar

i absolutely love how honest he is... he asked me if im not going to race or if i have plans to race my z... i told him realistically my zed will be a show case for the rest of her life so i wont be getting harnesses MAYBE seats but no harnesses for me... he told me to just get the type 2 since its a show car plus its cleaner and cheaper than the race one...

im hoping and crossing all my fingers and toes that he tells me tomoro that it can make it and ill buy it tomoro... wish me luck fellas....

Jasonle 03-13-2013 06:40 AM

Good luck man! That does look nice

simota1 03-13-2013 07:13 AM

thanks man ^^^^ i need your guys advice which one do you think i should get? type 1 or type 2?

they both look identical but type 2 feels fake to me lol... its hallow thats why while type 1 has a chromoly tube.... realistically i will never race you guys probably know that but im gonna ask which one should i get? honest opinions please or am i retarded for wanting the type 1 version? :bowrofl:

wheee! 03-13-2013 07:28 AM

my man my gold mine is down to its dust lol... realistically its 200 bucks difference...... the last thing i wanna hear from someone at the show is i have a replica titan bar cuz its hallow :bowrofl: that would definitely make me mad :roflpuke2:

wheee! 03-13-2013 07:32 AM

Then suck it up and go for the "gold" version 1

In the end you will be happier

GaleForce 03-13-2013 08:03 AM

I would get the one with hooks for harnesses. I know you say you won't need a harness, but once you get the seats, you'll want the harness to finish the look.

:iagree: I would go with type 1, especially for you buddy. I don't think you will be happy with version 2 in the end
