got a update from daytona racing and its freaking amazing news!!!!!

they can get me replacements :D :happydance: the brackets are cheap..... about 67 bucks for left and right the shroud is not too bad.... 21,000 yen ive emailed paul already.... i think i made this as easy and painless as it could be for baker tuning.... i told him ill even take care of the brackets myself... so i took 2 problems outa there basket all they needa do is replace my shroud...and ill be fine :D

ive already also tipped my friend that ill be ordering my top secret titan oil cans this week :happydance: gonna be sweet!!!!! im freakin stoked!!!!! last thing on the list is the strut bar for the bay and im complete :tup:

dude you could make a tank out of whatever you want your a welder no?:tup: I did some welding for almost 3 years before I started my apprenticeship for electrician. It was sheet metal welding and I always wanted to make some kind of custom tanks but I only had access to SS not titanium but would still be sick!

:bowrofl: the rear bar is actually a overlay from what i understand.... well thats what zuperman told me... it goes over the stock one.... this i find a lil :( because i know it runs like 700 or so new no shipping... with 200 more you can get one from amuse and its even a harness bar.... the only thing i do like though... is the burning of the titanium that top secret does..... god its pure love

i can man... but i barely have time for myself.... :( i made a tank almost 3 years ago when i first started tig welding aluminum.... i posted pics on here... i got teased for my welds being so huge :bowrofl: haha but it was the truth... i used a fat 1/8 filler rod lol what was i thinking back then..... :roflpuke2: anyways since then ive made quite a few tanks and on 3 occasions i made stainless steel ones... how i wish i can make one outa stainless for my car.... ive been dying to do some DIY projects but ive been working back to back at my shop with my dad... the projects never end :( i will however try my best to make a tank though outa SS only thing if i have time... if i had a pulse tig bejesus i would leave it burnt look... those things comes out really nice.... i just have a small tig welder i use for special jobs :( nothing fancy....

btw guys... apparently the only oil cap top secret has is the CF one with gold anodized look.... im thinking.... u guys think itll look good if i take out the red password jdm ones and replace em with gold titanium bolts to match the top secret cap?

well... i have another update lol.... really good but at the same time i messed up.... i got enough balls to do a wire tuck on our z's.... long story short it worked out... and i hid the looms perfectly and deleted that ugly small fuse box in our bay... here is where my fatigue and stupidity kicked in... i was on the last harness, i was gonna run it reverse.... i needed more slack and saw that if i ran it under this one hose then itll give me enough length to swoop it in the back.... well i had a pretty long day and i knew and told myself i should rest already and continue tomoro.... instead i got impatient and decided to finish it without even checking the damn line my genuisness unbolted this thing and fuel started leaking out... i instantly freaked out and jammed it back in the hole.... tightened it and that was it... now when i start my z... its pissing gasoline through the seam like a mad man :( damn it.....

the good news though? i installed my black couplers, t bolts with gold bolts, and finished the wire tuck :tup: bad news? i cant use my z no more until i fix the problem i created for myself.... fyi i hate fuel leaks i have a phobia ever since the V8 i built when i was a teenager had a small fuel leak and caught on fire and nearly burned my house down :(

Im not sure I would change everything to gold. Maybe isolated under the hood will look ok, but nothing else in your theme is gold. Is it?

heres a little humor it really burned my balls when i pulled up and a couple said damn man thats the nismo version right? ummm no its a base.... "look hunny the base model is even nicer than the nismo version" facepalm bwahahahha

on a side note... tony from cfe is working on my map light and handles tunnels in red kevlar.... :D i still havent begun my box build :( damn sometimes i wish i had more time to myself.... really hard to balance family, work and car hobby.....

I know what you mean for wanting to go with a theme and stick with it. The only thing that should keep you from going with TS exhaust is if for some odd reason it sounded horrible. Which I doubt it does, so stick with all TS!

so i bought a new one i felt so lucky because it was the last one on island :tup:... installed with a buddy of mine and it still leaked... checked it again... i guess we got over confident when we shoved it back in.. cuz we tore the new one in half :facepalm: :( now i gotta wait a week and a half.... which means ill miss the local cruise coming up which i put together lmao what a failure

btw guys... i got a email from daytona... he said that top secret made a mistake with taken his order for me... apparently they stopped making top secret oil caps as a whole... and have no future plans making them... shieettttt!!! :crying: i asked him if he could maybe get an arc one instead...? but idk i really like uniformity.... time for scavenger hunting a top secret cap :D
