so i finished taking out the rest of my sounds tonight... its going to its new home tomoro morning.... his actually a member here too :tup:

i wasnt able to go to the bank and put money in my paypal for the Jnext's but ill be sure to do that tomoro :tup:

i also went ahead and did the penny trick for the hatch springs... ive been having to do the double touch on the trunk popper.... :shakes head: it sucks when your carrying something and you need to put it down just to press the button with one hand and hold up the hatch with the other... the penny trick worked great. :happydance:

i should be able to place the order for the sub tomoro along with the component speakers and maybe the rears speakers also with the money i made from the part out...

alright fellas.... i got an update... but its not that great :(

so i clayed my car today because i wanted to seal her with paint sealer.... im pretty careful and i washed her, 2 bucket method... blasted the sh!t outa her with so much water.... i always buy new clay bars when i clay my z.... but today was :shakes head: so i began claying the hood... when i first ran the clay bar i looked at it and there was a small rock... like idk wtf and where it came from... but it but a pretty good scratch on it about two feet long :facepalm: i tried buffing it with some compounds... but no dice... looks like i gotta get it sanded with like 3000 grit and buffed out.. THANK GOD i didnt press hard on the clay bar or it would have been not good. i addressed the other minor scratches and did paint corrections... still doing good with the swirls... none so far :D and ive had her for about 4 months now... put the cover on her :tup:

before the whole cleaning incident i began taking measurements for my enclosure... and fml... ORIGINALLY i thought that i could use my 12 W3 V3 for my sub enclosure idea... I went ahead and gave it a try but it would be impossible to work, since i already ordered the mdf rings i opted for a 12'' shallow mount sub. I was able to stage it today and came in to one conclusion the 12 mdf ring will NOT fit... i could make it fit but in the end the box wont flow like i wanted it... it would protrude and look funky... i havent came out with the final conclusion on what size sub i can run but one thing is for sure 12 is outa the question... so i burned 25 bucks on the ring :shakes head: its gonna look like even a 10 is cutting it pretty close... i know a 8 would fit no problem and would make the box proportionate but it feels so puny :roflpuke2: never in my life have i ran anything less than a 10.... the biggest ive done was 4 12's in my old pathfinder and it rocked... (sorry i used to be a bass junky lol) i still gotta recheck and calculate everything for this part... ill update you guys again when i figure it out...

NOW as for my old audio... its long gone... zerodark on this forum bought everything from me :tup:... here is the funny part, my wifes bday was saturday, and who here wants to guess what happened next :facepalm: all im gonna say is ive never seen her so happy :tup: but my z took a hit for the team lol no sounds for a while....

evor said he shipped my emblems out already like 2 days ago hopefully well see it soon....

time to work some overtime and make up what ive lost lol :D

so today was pretty rough at work.... i was working like a mad dog with deadlines... but thankfully i got them out in time :tup: i get home and i have two packages with my name on them :D one from EVOR and the other from CFE.... GOD i love the vendors on here... so much support for guam... i got my emblems in like 4 days lol and my knee pads in like a week.... i was suprised they came so fast.... anyways..

i went ahead and installed the knee pads... tremendous difference... the quality of tony is truly remarkable.... perfect... is the only way to describe it.... i also did the test fitting of the emblems.... the front emblem definitely got my vote... the back however... ehhh... still a 50/50.... not to sure im feeling it.... i test fitted them with painters tape. i took em off and dropped them off to the body shop.... im having them reshaped to circles.. the hamburger shape just killed it for me... i hate that shape... :bowrofl: i should be able to get them back end of this week or beginning of next

back to the box nightmare :bowrofl: well i did alota measuring and thinking.... and tryna visualize my next move.... and this is what i came up with... IF i got a 10'' woofer... i would be driving with my chairs in a affixed position and would not be able to recline them... EVER.... a 12 would be near to impossible... so that leaves me to one answer.... one single 8'' woofer would be my best bet... even with the enclosure with a 8'' i would be able to recline and act like that sub isnt even there :D the only problem is... i think its puny :crying: BUT i would rather have a sub that fit nicely and hit ok rather than a sub that hit really loud and ill look like a robot driving my z because i cant reclne :bowrofl: im gonna order the 8'' mdf ring tonight together with the RF shallow mount DVC 4ohm ill wire down to a 2ohm load... since the puny 8''s cant take much... i think ill just get a 5 channel amp... it doesnt save me money... which sucks lol but at least i dont have to lay out another power cable... :tup:

SO its been a crazy week for me :shakes head: first with my z and now this

my mom wanted to help my wife prepare for my daughters 1st birthday, just running around and getting errands done with... well a cement truck of all things was signaling left and also on the lane to TURN LEFt.... so my mom is on the lane to turn right... the cement truck changes his mind and turns right :shakes head:

my heart dropped when i got the call that my family was in an accident with a cement truck :( thankfully everyone was ok especially my daughter... my daily driver camry however didnt get as lucky :( the cement truck tore off the bumper, both headlights, corners, mutilated the fender, hood and bent part of the suspension i believe.... this means my z will be my daily for a while :( which sucks cuz i smell like slag and weld at the end of the day

the bright side to this is my lil girl turned one today

alright guys..... this month has been pretty rough on me... :( its like a freaking rain cloud has been following me all month :shakes head: well to make the long story short we were doing some cutting in my shop. I didnt wanna risk any contaminants going on my car so my parked my z at my buddys shop next door like a 3min walk.... after a long day with stuff going wrong i get to my car and it wont start :facepalm: keep in mind... im all alone by now... my whole compound is pretty much empty.... my shop is closed and i have no keys LUCKILY my friend was just leaving he gave me a jump start and i was able to drive home.... imma need a new battery tomoro :shakes head: only good thing... this came in... i already dropped it at the body shop... theyll have it painted by wednesday

as im walking out holding the rears walking to my z.... he goes, "man you shoulda ordered the jdm ones like these, im pretty sure they make em for your z"

I once had 2 guys walk by my car (i was driving real slow in a parking lot looking for parking) and as i passed by them i heard one guy "dude look at the white car! Its badass!!!" So of course i was proud.. Till his friend says "i know! Thats one badass eclipse" now mind you. There was no eclipse near me or in that small parking lot. Im sure my facial expression was priceless.. Lol

alright guys... a lil update.... i have everything ready for my box... but my shop has been insanely busy, so busy that sometimes i have to work 7 days a week just to meet deadlines, thats one big reason why i barely go on and post on here :( so no time to pull seats and build my sub box :(

anyways so jay (EVO-R) emailed me and said the yuki of DAYTONA RACING JAPAN is on island wanted to meet me... he told me that they specialize in building high performance z's and tuning them. I was so excited to meet this guy you guys have no idea, i was so excited that my poor judgement led to a gash in my from bumper :( this was from the damn steep decent from the parking lot, i wanted to back up but it was to late so i just scratched my underside slowly... no cracks so im still ok :tup:

i get down and meet with yuki keep in mind i just worked a 8 hour shift full blown welding all day so i smelt like slag and grinding discs :bowrofl: he asks to see my car, i take him to it and even before we get to it, he just says RED ONE lol.... sweet jesus guys he was so happy more importantly i was so happy from all the compliments he told me about my z.... he noticed ALL of the lil details in my z and that absolutely made me so freaking happy i mean i live on an island where the tuner scene is made outa 240's and hondas so no one really knows about our z's here... i always get the nice z man.... which is ok but i really appreciate it when they notice what ive done to it... not just them thinking i bought it like that.

i especially loved how yuki and his wife would radomly point out the brands on my z... :happydance: amuse... carbon signal.... mines... volk.... j-next ....greddy.... and so on, this guy was checking the perfection of the gaps of the fenders and everything on it... i could really tell he was passionate and how he appreciated how much work i put into it. I think he was tryna to see if guam had a chance to establish a tuning shop from daytona racing, he asked me how many z's were here, how many actually modified them and so on

sorry if my story is kinda spastic and im just throwing everything out there... im just really happy i met this guy, and for the first time in my life owning my z i finally met someone who appreciated all the work i have put into her... with the exception of all of you in here that read my journal and compliment my progress :D i just get tired of hearing damn man this is the nismo version right? (reason why i debadged that stupid emblem and sold my nismo license plate frames) or how people around here break their necks with hondas and dont even flinch when they see my z at a meet because they think its stock :(

anyways merry christmas to all you guys :tup: ill start modding next year again :D
