DAN |
thanx!... yup, i got it at poway, was it yours???
I Originally wanted a EVO. What made u decide 2 get rid of a tuned EVO and get a 370z instead?
Looking great! Great Photos! What camera did you use? Nice post processing too.
Looking forward to seeing how the blacked headlights look on MB Z. |
Congrats, nice choice!
That was one sexy Evo. Good trade IMO

and the chicky will be taking some pix with the new car as soon as she finds the perfect outfit i guess, according to her. i use a canon xsi on Tv setting, not the greatest pix like i said before, they were just quick shots, i didnt bring any of my equipment |

^^^ i would have to agree, thats one reason why i picked her up
Congrats! Great color IMHO. I'll enjoy watching what you do to your new Z.
How did you black out those head lights?
Love the wheels on the Evo..hint hint..

^^^ i was thinking about putting the same wheels on the z, but they would be the flat black or gun black, we'll see
on the headlights, there is a how to DIY floating around here somewhere, but i have always blacked out my headlights on all my vehicles what part of jersey are you from danny? i was born and raised in north bergen right by the hudson |

Is it a big change from jersey? |
oh ya, not like culture shock change, but still a pretty big change. its just two different vibes you get from being there and being here. all my family lives there so i go back and visit them all the time
where are you at in SD?
So what's planned for the Z?
im in spring valley until the end of the year, what about you?
well im going to do full suspension and BBK first, including wheels and tires first for 2 reasons. first i auto x and track at willows a lot and would rather my suspension tuned first ( although the stock suspension feels really good, it could be improved like anything else). second my arc products arent out yet and im waiting on there intakes and exhaust and coolers so by the time im done with suspension and brakes the arc products should be out |
Nice pickup! Both cars are beautiful. Let me know if you need anything :)

i was going to ask you if you had to roll any fenders when you got lowered and put your tm02's on? any rubbing issues? |
Congrats on the sale and the new car
I can't wait to see how you choose to modify this one. -Hunter |
The front is very aggressive with 9.5 +22 and there is this metal clamp thing shrouded in plastic that hold the front bumper/quarter panel in place. It will most definitly rub on that if your on coilovers. I completed shaved that piece down and cut a 3" by 10" piece of lining off along the edge of the fender and that resolved everything 100%.
I think I saw your old Evo X at the JTuned Super Meet earlier in the year. Nice work! Can't wait to see how your 370Z comes out. :)
so there is no need for that metal shroud at all? just cut it off? obviously your bumper is still on with no problems. the lining i dont care about, i can just cut that as well for proper fitment

Thanks for posting pics of the black out headlights. I was curious how that looks on a black Z, and will probably be doing it myself over the winter
