ok guys, new wheels and tires installed. i know its not everyone cup of tea, but i really dont care ha. i got a really good deal from lou at amplified motorsport. love dealing with them over there, they are all very helpfull. obviously these are gold ssr type f's . standard 370z fitment (19x9.5 +22F 19x10.5 +15R for the newbies) tires are nitto nt-05. i lowered it a bit more but i think i want it a bit lower, although the tires rub on big dips or bumps on the freeway. i wasnt going to go with this setup but i couldnt pass up the deal. i was going to pick up some te's but didnt work out. onto the pix. if you have any questions or comment (bad or good) feel free

Hmm, I like the more subtle gold color.....not bad!
Not a fan of the headlights still though 8P. Flip flop, and put tint on the back, leave the front alone. Or get the interiors painted on them. |
^^ thank you for the input. i know everyone has different taste and thank god cuz all of our cars would look the same if we didnt. i want to tint the tails little bit but i keep putting it on the back burner. i love my headlights though, that wont change haha. thank you again

I definitely think with the way you are you need to do the tails and get it over with heh. |

That's one sweet lookin z!

i like it...perhaps black out the emblems and door handles? same goes for the tails to match the headlamps.
|
^^ thank you! and i agree abiut painting the emblems and doing something about the handles. ill get to it. maybe next weekend ill do something about the emblems. tail lights i havent decided what im going to do yet

oooh nice 'stang
oh, nice black car too haha |

Well, in that case.........game on. |
very nice set up. one of the cleanest black 370z in this forum imo. im glad you chose the ssr wheels even tho the te's are sexy, i think the ssr brings a different look/taste to this forum.
keep it up. |
Well done. This Z is really awesome. :)

very clean z!! always loved the gold/bronze on black combo, and the headlights look great too. i think you should keep the tails red though, not really a fan of tinted tails. ill definitely be watching your progress as id like to go a similar route with my Z.
|
thank you very much! i think im going to leave the tails alone. i was going to do headers but i think im just going to get the tune and save for a f.i. setup. i miss boost a lot, specially last night at the track. june 15th ill get a tune and start saving for a f.i. kit i think
|
nice evo! nice z! very clean.
hks hi power had blueish tip... torched like that? hmm... interesting. Do you like it? sound? performance? btw.. doesn't the hi power burn the rear bumper? Thanks. -Alex |

the evo had an artisan carbon/ti exhaust that had a burnt tip the z has the hks hi-power which comes with burnt tips as well i love the exhaust and i think it sounds perfect and has a great tone to it. im going to be getting a tune here in a few weeks so we'll see about performance then but my butt dyno likes it!!! |

Looking pretty darn sick!

sebastian and specialty z tuned my 370z this morning. first off i want to thank sebastian for being very helpful. my fiance and i had a great experience at specialty z today and would recommend them to anyone who is needing work done to there z or that needs a tune in the socal area. we woke up at 5 this morning to head up to the shop. we left the house at 5:45 and got to the shop at around 9:30. sebastian greeted us and before you know it the car was on the dyno and ready to go. after each run sebastian pulled me over and explained to me what exactly is going on with the car and air/fuel ratios. everything was done in about an hour and a half. i was sad for the tuning to end cuz after, my fiance and i went shopping in LA for her...haha. specialty z had great prices, great customer service and imo did a great job on the car
now the fun facts. sebastian showed me my first base run but i forgot the exact numbers, sorry, i have the second run and the last run. second run she made 296hp and 252tq. last run she made 305hp and 262tq. now i just pulled my evo dyno sheet and when tuned, the evo made 292hp and 263tq. now, the evo was very quick and seemed like it had more hp than what it dynoed. i only say this cuz the evo was beating a lot of cars including a gtr and zo6 (and equivalent) on the 1/8th mile and the z feels faster than the evo. maybe its just driver??? im just saying i think both dynoes read low but i could be mistaken. ( btw specialty z uses a dyno jet). anyways here is the sheet and some pix and a unedited, quick clip ( not the best but gives you an idea) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...10082508PM.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/GOPR0090.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/GOPR0089.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/GOPR0088.jpg |
That's awesome man! Thanks for sharing  How do you like the car after the tune? Do you feel a little more low end?
BTW, can't watch the video. It's set to private :(. This shot is MONEY! Those rims and tips look  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...bdfe2207_o.jpg |
Clean Evo and of course a clean Z
