^^ now I drove both the sedan and hatch and it felt like the hatch drove differently than the sedan. Is that true or is it just me being weird. Also if I post up a pic of an exhaust for the gvb would you be able to tell me what manufacturer it's from? I've been searching but I don't know who makes it but I want it

can't say about the STi, but the hatch feels different on the WRX trim level.

i can look at the exhaust and probably tell...unless it's one of those nameless sports ones, or an ebay exhaust lol.

kind of annoying the sedan and hatch have different exhaust options

Not certain if there's any difference in wheelbase between hatch and sedan. There's negligible difference in weight, if I remember correctly. As for seating and interior dimensions, there's no difference between the two in the (front and rear) passenger compartment. The sedan is about 6" longer in total, as the back end is a little longer compared to the hatch.

Time for name that exhaust!!!!

Not the best but it's all I could find and I really doubt this is an eBay exhaust lol. I hope I have better taste than that

Hmm, looks like the Invidia Q300. I personally like the HKS one best.

It looks like either Invidia or Perrin. Likely Invidia...hard to tell in the second picture...where the pipes join under the car, there should be a plate that says "Invidia" on it, but the pic is a bit dark, so can't tell for certain. I've got the Invidia on order.

If you zoom in (on a iPhone or whatever) you can kind of make out the invidia plaque in the center. It's hard to see but it's there. So you guys were right and that's a nice exhaust your getting. Did you get it with the ti tips?

Yes I did...I decided to take a chance on the Ti tips. Kind of ricey, but might go well with world rally blue. Invidia Q300 for the sedan is different in design than for the sedan. There might not be enough room for two longitudinally placed resonators, so it/they are positioned transversely.

Really? I've been watching a lot of videos and that doesn't look like invidias. I guess I was wrong. Maybe it's just the tips that are different

It does look like the invidia with the ti/tip option. That one "looks" the best. Thinking about doing the ewg as well like I did on the evo. It has to be loud lol

Yup , I just heard the invidia q300 with invidia dp and gt spec headers and it sounds amazing. Thinking that will be the setup I go with exhaust wise
