Don't have a final picture but put in the Motordyne Manifold. The low end and midrange torque is way noticeable! Love it so far. I guess the next step is EcuTek :happydance: No idea when that will be but hopefully soon!

Great bro!!! enjoy your new mod :)

Man I have the worst luck. Rear tires are bald as can be and the camber wear was just awful from the road tripping, twisty road fun, and a couple of road course events. Then I hear a hiss noise every rotation of the wheels/driveshaft coming from underneath the car. Took it to a shop and couldn't find anything... Checked all bushings, driveshaft joints, rotors and calipers... then my front tire just went. Checked the backside and looks like my toe was off enough to tear up the inner sidewall and puncture enough of it to rip it.
Needless to say it was time for new tires. So I ordered a fresh set of Potenza RE11. Went with 265 up front instead of 275 due to availability and probably going to help more since I was having rubbing issues. I hate Michelin for having 305 and 295 on backorder so it's time to try a new set of tires. First time running these so I am fairly excited. Heard great things about them. This sets me aside from getting some more performance being done. The bill was $1300 for these tires! They should all be here monday :) As a joke I also put my last set of replacement Tredwear letters on the spare haha. Causes quite a commotion on the streets :bowrofl: https://farm1.staticflickr.com/594/2...6255ddeb_b.jpgIMG_20151012_104705 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5760/...a24d62e8_b.jpg20151012_130615_Richtone(HDR) by datsunpride, on Flickr |
No that is the way to break some necks lol!
You are going to love the RE-11's... |

Damn bro sorry to hear that... anyway nice to know that you already order the new tires :driving:
|
Got my fronts put on today. So even a 10mm difference in tire hasn't helped with the rubbing issue. Possibly made it worse since I have a 35 sidewall rather than a prior 30.
So I rolled (beat with a mallet) my fenders today and definitely fixed it. There should be a road course day coming up soon so I am aching to get on the track! https://farm1.staticflickr.com/645/2...b83238ff_b.jpg20151014_133921_Richtone(HDR) by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5751/...c59ecafd_b.jpg20151014_143702_Richtone(HDR) by datsunpride, on Flickr |

Okay so busy day getting the Z1 power steering cooler and Race front control arms on! Tomorrow I go in for an alignment.
Don't look at that crappy line routing :roflpuke2: I am quite sick with flu and I didn't really care afterwards. Here you go Carlos  plenty of pics https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5641/...7886c8d9_b.jpg20151208_130043_Richtone(HDR) by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5713/...6afce6ec_b.jpg20151208_132747 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5816/...f86aa1a2_b.jpg20151208_141140 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5661/...5b0c0123_b.jpg20151208_141135 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5766/...cde2f833_b.jpg20151208_141131 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/752/2...dff2cf56_b.jpg20151208_142009 by datsunpride, on Flickr |

I might cancel out on my January track plans but the local track always has stuff going on so it's no big miss. So that's pretty much everything now and I am set for any track day. Everything will just be normal fade and wear. Hopefully my base brakes hold on for me for longer. I don't have money for a BBK! :O |
Thanks a lot bro for the pics  BTW one question... when you remove the line of the stock power steering cooler, all the fluid come off or you have to make flush to change them all?
|
Let it all flow out from the lines

Of course. Just make sure to fill the cooler before installing and when you top off turn the wheels (while the car Is up) until you feel pressure and go for a drive. You'll hear whining. Just top off the reservoir more

The cooler comes with caps on the core. Just take them off and pour directly into the cooler. It distributes to the other side so just fill and let settle.

I leave you some reps ;) |
So thanks to JWillis I have made the road course pretty much a part of my life. No more autox just time attack and open track days twice a month since october of 2015.
So with that being said I ordered Battle Aero's Chassis Mount Swan Neck Wing. 1700mm frp deck with aluminum stands. Fully adjustable and pivots back for trunk use. It won't be here in time for this weekend track fun but It should be shipping over next week :) Sold my duckbill so don't ask for it! https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1511/...f9fed4d2_b.jpg20160118_163742 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1494/...70b9291c_b.jpg20160118_172316 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1706/...68ed644c_b.jpg20160118_172328 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1443/...fa98c151_b.jpgFB_IMG_1452869822824 by datsunpride, on Flickr I also cut off my exhaust from the resonator section back. The shop who did my exhaust did a pretty wonky bend job and it's costing my throttle response... I also shaped the tips to look kind of cool underneath there lol. Don't worry it's just temporary. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1474/...f534cdc3_b.jpg20160118_151325 by datsunpride, on Flickr |
awesome bro! cant wait to see it! BTW i like how your Z looks wingless

Had a seriously good session today. With all of the recent upgrades the Z ran perfectly. Clutch didn't overheat, power steering was working flawlessly, and the control arms helped a ton as well. Only issue was fuel starvation as always... I had a 5 gallon jug with me to just top off the tank but otherwise I was very happy.
Can't wait for my wing and next month! https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1589/...055b03fe_b.jpg_DSC7361-Recovered by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1513/...1755efd2_b.jpg_DSC7385 by datsunpride, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1581/...83487b1a_b.jpg_DSC7364 by datsunpride, on Flickr |

awesome bro! good to hear that everything works great

Didn't like what was available So I decided to make my own. Need to balance the front vs. Rear when the wing comes in. Still need to build a detatchable splitter too. I'll post pictures when I get a prototype visual :)
