Tried a unique paint scheme on my spare headlight today. I have some subtle touches of gold on the exterior plus and my air deflector and engine cover are painted the same gold. Th is purely as a test but I think it's growing on me. What do you guys think?
(yes that is factory matched red)

On a side note: Ordered a z1 oil cooler earlier :)

I did plan on painting the faces of my wheels in gold in the future so it will all flow better if I pull through with this headlight paint idea

my personal opinion bro! leave the headlights like now ;) looks better... but if you find another set of headlights do it haha!! soo you can leave your headlights like they look now ;) On the wheels they have too look great!!! :tup:

BTW great on the Z1 Oil cooler :tup i have that on my wish list :) the factory one work find in the last track day that I run but... if I install a bigger one it would work a lot better

The gold would be appropriate... :icon17: I still have to test fit them on and see how they would work out

dont look bad bro! :tup: what helps you is that the red paint is the same red as your Z body... Fcket is your Z and if you like it go ahead and paint those headlights ;) when you get tired you can paint them black again :p

Why gold?

Gold tow hook, engine cover, air deflector, dress up bolts, the faces of the wheels will be done in gold.. :tup:

Will your rim/tire combo setup work on a stock suspension? Would i need spacers? Noob when it comes to this stuff.

It will work even better with stock suspension. You have much more room for tires:driving:

Brother the options are unlimited..... Its what you want and like. with Stock setup? Depending on the offsets? Spacers may be required. tire size can be maxed out with stock height. But if you do your
due diligence!?! You will be set for a perfect stance, that you desire:driving:

It most definitely will! You won't need spacers either. I am running a little bit of camber and it tucks the way it does. The stock specs will keep it looking good.

I was super impressed by the way the Z performed on the Tail of the Dragon. The suspension was tuned so well and the oil cooler was a life saver.

Now for next year.... Needs more power! Hoping to tune it this year

You should have seen how Datsun took this shots!

He is literally standing at the ledge of Fontana Dam one wrong step he falls off the dam.

We then have to save the camera first ( the photos of the Z are priceless) then save Datsun! Lol
