Yeah oil viscosity is going to change with temp and outside temps can definitely affect oil temp...
Plus as the metals in the engine expand and contract (at different rates because they are different metals) the tiny oil-filled gaps between parts will expand and contract as well. Does anyone know where the oil pressure sensor is actually located on this car? Is that it hanging off the front of the upper oil pan near the filter? (There's two there, I think, I assume one would be pressure and one would be temp) |
