Also the interesting thing about the oil pressure is that it's high when the car is cold and the longer i drive it, it idles lower and lower. The pressure when gas is applied is pretty consistent.

How much pressure do you have at idle?

dmhenderson 08-17-2013 06:02 PM

~20 when cold at idle.
~10 at idle after running around for a bit with the clutch depressed in gear at a complete stop but it fluctuates. I have seen it dip below 10 after driving for a while.

No leakage under the car and no smoke or anything.

dmhenderson 08-17-2013 06:03 PM

I am almost convinced this is a tuning issue because if I goose the gas a little it jumps back up to ~40.

Baer383 08-17-2013 06:11 PM

What is your idle speed?

dmhenderson 08-17-2013 06:17 PM

In terms of RPM? I'd have to check. If this is a "holy **** do not drive the car anymore" issue please tell me sooner rather than later.
The idle feels really lean like...on the verge of sputtering a little.

Well the lower the idle speed the lower the oil pressure, when I got my tune from Sam he had my idle set @ 600rpm when I got done tuning mine I set it @ 800rpm
Do you have your a/f gauge hooked up?

dmhenderson 08-17-2013 06:28 PM

I do. It's running lean. I'm farting around in the 14s unless the hammer is down in the middle of the power band but it's not even approaching 10.

dmhenderson 08-17-2013 06:29 PM

I'm ~afraid~ that GTM has screwed me with the tune and that it has locked out uprev and I'm going to have to start from scratch with my uprev license to self-tune unless I want to just deal with GTM's pre-flash nonsense.

My shop has a call into Uprev to figure out the tuning issue. They are pro tuners certified with Uprev, Cobb and several others. Not sure what the problem is here.

I suspect that this is the culprit for my missing top-end too. I'm going to delete my cats and run ART pipes and then re-tune assuming they get the problem fixed at Moore.

Oil pressure increases with rpm's. Afr's should be anywhere from 13(rich end) to 16(lean end) in idle and cruise. In boost I wouldn't want to see it above 11.7:1 really

These cars run best at 11.5-11.0 ,please don't post info that is bad info if your car is running what you just posted please get it checked out and corrected.

There is nothing bad about my info. How long have you been tuning cars? I digress though. I've only been tuning and turbo-ing for three years.

FIY - I was posting limits. Like I would be worried if it was going above or below those limits. But apparently I don't know what I'm talking about.

You don't if you and your buddy have only tuned 1 FI 370 thats not enough to make a that much of a general statement,Dmhenderson worries enough about his car and now it's FI even more so,any info that is not close to on the money is not helpful in this thread.:tiphat:
