Update: Oh man if you have the Nismo RC ducts and the stillen ducting kit, this GTM kit is a bastard to install.

Relocated so far: Oil cooler, power steering and the freaking blowoff valve. Good thing they have a certified TIG welder on staff (lol)

They're working hard for your money I see :)

dmhenderson 08-09-2013 11:03 AM

Between dealing with issues at GTM, to all of the the custom fabrication they're having to do all the way up to discovering the joys of taking the Z's dash off to install the gauges (which they somehow managed to do inside the OEM housings). They are good dudes.

I'm heading up with another forum member and the owner of Daedalus customs later on this afternoon to check it out. I'm gonna bring them a case of beer.

Don't leave that blow off valve in the up position.

What's with the welding on the intercooler?

dmhenderson 08-10-2013 09:47 AM

Welding is on the aluminum brace not the IC itself. Part of the bov relocation.

Ohh it looked like the intercooler.

Just make them turn that blow off valve facing down or at least sideways or you be cleaning it alot.:hello:

Another nifty side effect of the black intercooler is that it's almost completely invisible behind the black grille I'm having installed. Except for the bov hiss, it should be a pretty neat stealth look assuming I don't pop the hood.

That's why I went with the black ic and piping.

Only my intake pipes are powdered red. Everything else is black

That's ok. You can keep the hood closed and its still a sleeper. As much as a Nismo can be.

I need to get this done now, I like the intake piping polished but the intercooler black is nice so no one sees it.
