Thanks! I cant wait either. Never thought having the Z down for a month or two would be this rough haha :/

Build a custom turbo setup they said. It'll be fun they said.

Seriously though we are getting close. Hopefully I'll get the exhaust finished tomorrow. My buddy was supposed to come do all the intercooler piping but I haven't heard from him in awhile. I guess I'll have to start bugging them again soon.

I demanded a free shirt and decals from GTM, I still kinda feel like I've been robbed

We should do a group dyno day. We'd probably get a better rate if we do multiple cars

Fully tuning a car and not just getting HP numbers takes some time. I dont see them getting very many cars done in one day.

I wasn't talking about tuning. That takes 2-3 hrs per-car easy if you're not using a pre-flashed tune.

I thought you just meant a group dyno day or something.

This depends on the tuners experience (if we are talking about RT I know they have A LOTTTT of experience) and how "off the shelf" the builds are. If you have the experience and database of maps, why not start with a basemap and tweak from there. No point in starting from scratch. N/A tunes can be very quick, however boosted set ups can take some time, mainly from tuning/retweaking for the different maps.

pre-flashed is sketchy when talking turbo..

Mr&Mrs 06-17-2013 06:58 PM

This build is of a Custom built Single turbo. Not much luck on our platform. Its going to be a while, at least I would expect it to be. I do not care how many cars they have in their data base.

Just going to leave this right here... See what you think Cody..

Quick 5 minute PS work. I added exhaust tips in the center vents of the Amuse kit. Although the 3 exit exhaust might look okay, from this picture, I wasn't 100% sold on it. Thought I'd fab up something completely original that I've never seen before in the 500 million Amuse kits I've seen rolling around... :icon17:

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1371612608

The tips are IN the rear kit, similar to the way the McLaren MP4-12C tips are.
