Have you decided on tires yet? Also something to think about, I would strongly consider going down to a 3.3 final drive as your car is not gonna hook for sh1t!

Yeah, really good money, but I live worse than a bird in a cage. I share a small section of tent with my coworker that's about an 8x8ft space. Everything I need is less than 100 meters. Restrooms are porta johns, showers are in a tent, Georgians (Country) like to smoke in the $hitters and piss everywhere. They takes showers in their underwear and sometimes their socks, they leave upper deckers ALL the time, they use more toilet paper than necessary, they rat f@ck the MRE's before anyone gets a chance to grab them, and they will steal anything left alone. I'm lucky to work with mostly Marines maintaining their network. Most of the time it's chill. I'll baseline some switches, routers, W/E, get them all configured so it's plug and play for the Marines. I'll tell em what port to plug what in and call it a day. I'm used to working longer hours and much busier in uniform. Doing inventory on the same crap monthly, yearly classes and certifications, accountability, etc. I just work and email my info. Easy day, but it's a continual Ground Hogs Day.

19x9.5 fronts and 19x11 rears. I was debating 10.5 fronts but I wasn't sure if it would sit flush like the rears. The 9.5's and 11's fit perfect. I want them in GTsilver.
Haha Alex. I plan on finding something back in the states when I return. Working on my CCNP right now. Required or I lose my job. Announced last month as part of the draw down. I have a few months and I'm pretty good at it. |

I need a test engine baaaaad. I had one but my HDD crashed and had to reformat. I have access to GNS3 and plenty of equipment. I ordered some books and vids from Amazon since I lost most of that too.

Glad to see your project is moving along and your build looks to have promising result. GTM is having lots of stuff coming out for the SC fans, from this twin SC to the stage3 on my car. Our cars are probably bunking tightly together i'm guessing, haha.

Cool. You should go spy on the black one and tell me if it's torn down and the parts are being installed :P Would be great. I just need something to practice on. Cisco tests are worded in such a way that if you've never seen the question and you answer off the cuff without rereading it, you probably picked the wrong answer. And that just eats time
|
So when do you some back home to the states?

August some time. I'm about halfway done
GTM Speaks truth! Mike sent me a "PG-13" picture and promises hardcore goodness soon... http://www.the370z.com/members/ss_fi...wn-process.jpg excuse me while I fap to this... fap........fap.......fap.....fap....fap...fap..fap .fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfap |

So I started a thread discussing my concern for my exhaust in the FI section. I just wanted to add it in here so I can find it easier in the future.
http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...-vehicles.html Basically, with my car being a Y pipe design and the most restrictive point is 2.75" pipe just after the HFC, I'm worried it's going to really hinder things. So if things don't go well, I may have to remove my beloved Frankenstein exhaust and sell it. PPE's are staying regardless. Also in an attempt to save some money for more important things in life, I most likely will hold off on rims and just powdercoat my Rays in a Polished Gunmetal, then mount the 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 tires on them. I know they fit, but idk how it will look. I was looking at custom powdercoated M310's with TPMS and RE-11's shipped to my door for a good deal, so it's a hard choice. I'm saving about $1,000 if I use my Rays. And I have a hard time parting with them to recoup money. Instead of going for coilovers, I'll most likely just get Tanabe GF210's. They provide a 1" drop and I can buy some Nismo struts in the future for an inexpensive upgrade. I'm not a track rat and as much as I want coils, my wallet is getting raped trying to do a lot of things this year. I also have my eyes set on Motordyne sways. I want to try them out and should help tighten things up. I also must hold off on the OSG diff I really want, again because it's not cheap and can't properly use it enough to justify at this time, maybe down the road. I'll also most likely pick up Stillen's brake cooling kit just to keep things safe. If I have to double down and buy another exhaust, I'll still be able to afford these. Big thing is I want to pay off my car before I get home and I owe $25k on it. I still need to get new counter tops, landscape the back yard, and get more furniture too. New daily driver may have to wait till next tax season. If there is extra cash, it's going into paying off the Wife's car early... The cars alone would be a $1,000 per month savings. |
Bought An EVOR 3 piece lip from a forum member here :) Already painted magnetic black too :D I'll have my Wife snap a few pics when she gets it.
BTW, are 305's safe on a stock sp rear wheel? I see a few guys running it and looks fine, it doesn't look all mushroomed and retarded. |
|
Thanks, repped. I looked for a good while and didn't see Re-11 305's, happy to see they look good. Also on 15mm spacers. I think I'm gonna push that to 20/25mm's. Updates from GTM probably won't come until next weekend. I'll post what I have then.

Well, I guess there won't be much to report. GTM has something up there sleeve. Hopefully my suffering ends soon! Out of boredom, I found some old pics of my car bone stock before I left at the end my R&R in Oct 2011. Nothing special. But I did notice the ding on my rear wheel. Some dealership @ss hat lot porter had to of done it. Sorry about quality, came from my old HTC EVO... I'm still rocking it. These are the last of my pics of the car unfortunately, so I'm out of material lol.

Hey Firehawk - Thanks for sharing and posting updates. I have the twin supercharger on order - it's been about 3 months now and it should ship soon. I will be doing my own install and plan to post updates as I work through the install - can't wait.

8:04 with a stock Z (looks like a base model and only rated at 306hp... retarded) 6:49 with a fully upgraded V6 Z, no works package (580hp) 6:30 with a works package V6 Z (660ish) 6:20 with a works package V8 Z (1281hp of untamable fury) 6:25 with a NSX works package 6:28-6:32 with an EVO-9, EVO-X, and STI 8:02-8:04 stock times 6:25 with a works 911 GT2 and GT3RS 6:10 with a 918 concept and 6:20 with a GT, both works packages. 6:15 with a Mclaren F1 6:10 with an Gumpert Opallo works package 6:15 with a GTR (still has a lot left) 5:54 with a Murcielago works package (still has a lot left) (makes me feel inadequate) That Lambo is like driving supersonic speeds... Cornering is retarded. It's all about timing turn in. too soon, in the grass, too late, in the grass... or wall. AWD is insane on the car, it can pull it's self out of stupid drift angles. |
Went back and updated the reviews with bold and font changes. Should I consolidate the videos and dyno's into their own post as well?
Getting the itch. It's been over a month since I've really gotten any information on her progress. Not sure what to make of that. We are at the 4 month mark since they took delivery. I'm still guessing some time in April, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was done in May. Finally got a definitive plan for my floors too. Costing me $10,000 to do 1,000sqft in tile and 636 sqft of carpet. Not sure what two slabs of granite at 72" costs, but I need that for the counters and $2k for install. I have a sinking feeling this is a better investment than throwing money under my bonnet. http://s7.shawfloors.com/ir/render/S...2&op_sharpen=1 http://products.daltile.com/images/r...room1_5502.jpg http://www.daltilestone.com/images/s...spring6085.jpg |
I went back and linked the latest dyno's to the first thread. I also made a 2013 and updated my mods plan. In addition I also flipped the NST pulleys post and the M370 post so the dyno results flowed correctly. So to reiterate, my first post has the latest dyno results from GTM from DEC and JAN. The next set is my exhaust reviews, and at the last review for the exhaust, the videos and dyno results are linked. Then my intakes and pulleys reviews with the dyno posted below that. Lastly is the M370 results which was concluded after all previous mods and those dyno results are linked. I'm thinking I should add an Index. I think I will...

Any idea when your SC will be completed ???
