Sucks that your car is delayed such a sick build you will have a blast once you get it back:tup:

That meth reservoir really looks at home there I have to call Sam now and pick up one.

Hi Firehawk - it's interesting that they had a pulley bearing go - that also happened to me on initial startup and I had to put a washer behind the bearing to provide some clearance between the bearing and the engine - once I got that sorted out (and put everything back together) - put about 100 miles on before the OEM fixed idler pulley began to squeak for the same reason - put a washer behind that one and it's been good since. I have about 1000 miles on it now including one track day & everything seems to be holding together pretty well. Still have more tuning to do which Sam is helping me with.

Really had no idea you could build a PC with a water pump. Mind Blown! I googled a bunch of your build info and then got drowsy, I wish I knew more about this stuff. Looks rad for sure.

I know they special ordered it, took a few tried to find one that fit and had enough capacity to keep me from refilling it too often.

Lol, liquid cooling or watercooling has been around for a good while. Nowadays, you can buy them without having to do anything besides bolt em down. I prefer doing the cooling setup myself. I can personalize it and put my own touch to it, more expensive but it provides superior cooling in comparison to the aforementioned. Now they have rigid acrylic tubes you can shape with a heat gun. Choose a color, diameter and special fittings, and you can have hard lines with permanent angles. It's just as bad as car modding, less expensive but... Tread lightly. Instead of HP numbers, it's overclocking numbers and voltages. Processors, graphics cards, memory, just like a car, the computer needs to be balanced. Here are some of my favorite places to pick up custom pc parts. Newegg.com of course is my go to for main hardware pieces

Picked up car from GTM last night. Tail lights weren't working. Relay in the engine bay for the tail lights was corroded. So it was replaced. They are working on fixing a squeaky pulley when it's cold. I noticed it last night. Hopefully this doesn't take long.

Edit: Well... took long, finally have her back by 3pm

Edit: Eating before I get on the road. They topped off my meth and made sure the pulley was g2g

Edit: Confirmed pulley size is 92mm. In Barstow, running like a champ

Car made it home without issue. Oil temps got to about 218 when driving at a "brisk" pace for 20+ miles up the mountains and temps hitting about 98 degrees. Adding a few pics I took. Car is dirty as hell, still need to do videos... Took a pic of the relays, the tail light one was replaced, new brakes, front bumper area, and meth gauge

21SEP: Unfortunately vids have to wait till next weekend... Ran out of time in my day.

22SEP: Wife drove it today while I was out of town. She's loving the power. I think she is power hungry, now she wants her car to be fast like mine. The pulley still squealed when cold, but she said she only noticed it when she started to drive and only for a few blocks. I had a C4 trying to bother me, I put a few school busses between us with out much effort. Random Bmw's and Audi's revved on me till they heard my BPV hissing at them. They no longer felt it a good idea. There were a few broken Honda necks with youngins eyeraping the car. Probably trying to figure out what is hiding under the bonnet. Car garages force me to roll down the windows and go hooning to see how many alarms I can get to go off. I'm still trying to pin point rasp or drone, but I haven't heard or felt any. The pitch changes from low and deep to high around 4-5k rpm. It's so deep I can feel it in my chest when I press the gas, but it doesn't give me a headache at any rpm. There is no raspy tinny sound that I can hear, but sounds close to it as it starts climbing past the mid range. Ill post vids and new dynos when I get back home.

Nice vid showing the power. 1st and 2nd spinning like crazy. Time for some better tires or traction control or boost by gear setup.

Dzel 09-29-2013 12:50 PM

Excellent... (in Mr. Burns voice)
