Who has an AirRex hook up?

TerribleONE 12-29-2014 12:23 PM

I am very happy with my cup kit so far! Having all 4 would really be sweet, could take your Z offroading! lol

Yea just the fronts for now. Has given me enough clearance so far however I would love to have the rears as well. Supposedly his kit will work with the OEM type rears as well.

Wiggins3377 12-29-2014 02:55 PM

Jason send Mark Chin at Ravspec a message about your air setup. He helped me out big time. Hes a great guy to work with!! Send me a FB message if you want to talk more.

The hardest part about your kit is hammering the front shock towers. The rest is easy.

After tearing apart the rear of my car, I'm confident that I can install full air and have it totally hidden and still have plenty of room for my audio system.

You bet. I had it up to 60°F less than an hour after the guys fired it up. And it was 12°F outside. Good times! :happydance:

Last two winters I would work out there wearing a shirt, a long sleeved shirt, and a hoodie (underwear and jeans too... :p ) Today I was working in a t-shirt and jeans no problem. It's great!

Insulate the garage door with some foam, it helps.

Done, done, and done. The entire garage is insulated and drywalled. When we were building the house I asked the builder how much to fully insulate and finish the garage, he said $1200... That's extremely cheap in these parts so I didn't hesitate to sign off on that.

My only regret is not asking for a slightly higher ceiling in the garage. I need to get a structural engineer out to figure out what I need to do to gain a bit of hight in the middle bay, so I can park a car under the 4 post lift.

Umm... You have a 4 post lift??... WTH!!! JEBUS that's nice. If I were to get a 4 post, I would get the one on wheels where you could roll you whole car around.

I did a new edit of the above photo, took the tree out and tweeted the colours a bit. Which version do you guys like?

YzGyz

I don't have it yet, it's next on the list. I need to get the ceiling figured out first. I'm hoping next summer.

I'm looking at one of these,

Four Post Lifts - DirectLift.ca: Residential Automotive Lifts, Motorcycle Lifts and ATV Lifts

Comes with the wheels, ramps, and drip trays. Optional are the hydraulic jacks, which are a must.

Yes.

Zoren 370 01-17-2015 10:33 AM

What mag and issue date? I'll try to find it.

GaleForce 01-17-2015 08:02 PM

That issue is the Tuning 365 2014 yearbook. (Red cover in background). It's a special edition recent release. FWIW, that's the only photo of my Z in it. The mini feature is still due out. I'm told sometime in 2015. It keeps getting pushed back :ugh2:

I keep looking at the top left picture for some reason. I can't make out all the curves. I request a better picture and closeup!
