I've spoken with Sasha (boosted performance) on the phone many times. He's very knowledgeable and I was actually going to go with his kit after the price of the F.I. was out of my reach. But GTM was at such a good price and at the time I believed I would have this kit installed and tuned by the time Sasha would be able to ship my kit out due to him being a 1 man show.

Who else on this forum has the BP kit? It's a great price. Location of the turbo is nice for heat purpose. This kit have a open dump option?
So this uses the OEM manifolds? |

So he really beats the crap out of the car/kit. I know that if there were any issues he would let me know. Also, open dumps are cheaper than recirculated wastegate exhaust, since it is only a couple of short pipes with a flange at the end. |

I wouldn't worry at all about the fact that BP is in Canada. Everything arrived fine and half the items shipped directly from the US anyways. Sasha was the most responsive person I have ever dealt with and even handled a few minor after the sale issues for me to my complete satisfaction.
Driving it on the track is friggin awesome. Heading back out again in a few weeks! |
single turbo = boat loads of wtq
BP's kit keeps the turbo out of the engine bay which is great as these car's run hot enough. It also leaves room to run a large turbo. The top mount single kits I've seen(minus 98intrigues top mount) place the turbo right next to the fuel system on the passenger side bank.....no bueno. Best single kit for the platform in production hands down. Best FI kit out there for the price/power/potential ratio. Lookin good as usual Gale! |
Hey galeforce, I was wondering how many qts of oil did you put into your engine after the spacer + oil cooler. I have the same setup except with the 30r cooler. I put 7 qts in mine and it seems like I may not have enough.
