You need to use any method you can think of to install new gauges in their place and have them look good. Check the DIY for ideas. The DIY didn't help me because of the depth of the Defi gauges. You need a good power source for the gauges, battery, add a fuse, etc. you need to use the sending units that come with the new gauges. Cost? No idea, probably book time +++. 52mm fit best.

When I installed my gauges I used double sided tape, and black silicone. I don't have the Defi gauges that need the sending unit. The ones I have are the Defi 52mm Racer ones.

Car sounds really good by the way Gale

Officially they are Avant Garde m560's. Technically they are Work T1S with Avant Garde's trademark dolphin grey colour and custom offsets.

Thanks, that's what I was going for. The Amuse front bumper doesn't do it for me (reminds me of a Mazda 3). I was hoping moulding in the lip and shaving the emblem would have a subtle yet custom look. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Tonight I got around to replacing the clutch master cylinder.

Bench bleeding,

Done,

The shop that installed the clutch should have installed it when they did the clutch. For what ever reason they didn't and I had issues with the clutch from the get go. Anyhow, I installed the CMC myself and the initial test drive after was a success. I'll put a few miles on it and then start adjusting the RJM Motorsports clutch pedal assembly.

happytheman 05-17-2013 11:35 PM

Mitul RBF 600 is the shiznit! I'm running it in my brakes. :)

Nut_N_Much 05-18-2013 08:36 AM

Looking good man! I didn't know you could bench bleed the assembly. Always learning something new here! :tiphat:

Whats a clutch :rofl2: ? I miss shifting but it is nice being able to drink coffee on my drive to work..

Your drive to work must be more fun than my drive to work. I'm on the highway in ~2 minutes, then run up to 6th, set cruise, and I have 30 minutes of boring straight road a head allowing me to drink my coffee before I need to shift again. :ugh2:

I use back roads where possible. It takes me longer to get there, but is a shorter distance overall and as a bonus, has a coupla curveys.

Three days a week I only get up to 65-70 for 10-15 minutes..otherwise I'm not on highway. Two days a week though I have to get on I-4 and I'm traveling 7 miles at 80-85.

GaleForce 05-23-2013 05:05 AM

My new shifter knob has been shipped

LMBmikeZ 05-23-2013 05:06 AM
