I have been out of the game for awhile but back into it now. I just received my z1 intake manifold and have already installed it, I couldn't resist. I have an appointment on sat for a retune so I will let you know how it goes.

awesome cant wait to see the results.

I hit 308 whp on the dyno at 7500 rpm with the power band not dropping off at 7500. I stopped at 7500 for engine security. The makes power well past 7500 rpm. I will post the dyno graph a little later along with my video. I am happy with the result so far the mid range power is great and the torque comes on really early. The setup I have now is great and even though I know the power will continue past 7500 rpm is great to know. The tuner was so surprised when he saw the power band increasing and not dropping off. So it was a good day.

What was the torque number? What kind of dyno? 93 octane?

Navyboy916 05-04-2014 12:44 PM

Tq was 250, dynapack dyno, 92 octane

Chuck33079 05-04-2014 12:52 PM

Is there more in the setup with more tuning?

Navyboy916 05-04-2014 12:55 PM

Yes more in the future. I can't wait to get the full potential of this power setup. I know it has so much more. Even the tuner said it has a lot more room to work with. When I get back to the mainland I will have the VVEL adjusted cause that seems to be working on these cars.

Chuck33079 05-04-2014 12:57 PM

So you're logging and emailing the results to uprev, or did you find someone good local to you? Your setup was always going to take some extra time to get everything dialed in right since you're the only one who's really gone this route.
