Well I've decided to sell my Amuse exhaust in favor of a Top Secret v1 exhaust, tanabe y pipe and berk test pipes.

Hit me up if you're interested!!

da mayor 07-15-2014 01:04 PM

wow cant wait to see the change up !

speedfreek 07-15-2014 01:11 PM

Wheels look great. How do you have the front setup to handle bumps at speed to prevent rubbing?

Thanks Kenny, the amuse exhaust is pending to Sim at the moment, but if he decides he doesn't want it you should buy it for your build ;)

Im on air cups, so I can raise it without any problems. Honestly the fronts are the least of my worries. Im more concerned about the rear wheels. As you can see when the car is fully aired out the fenders stop millimeters from the wheel lip. That's part of the reason I'm debating going to an accuair bags system or raising the back coils a little for additional clearance. Leaning towards the later at the moment.

Had the time to install my steering wheel yesterday. Id say everything went very smooth except the Vertex wheel didn't come with screws to hold the wheel to the hub/ quick release so I had to run to autozone to get some temp ones. Right not I have an NRG quick release but I'm toying with the idea of getting rid of the quick release all together cause I don't know how I feel about the wheel being closer to my body. If I decide I want to keep the quick release I'm thinking I may bite the bullet and buy a Works Bell quick release. Stay tuned for some pics from Import Alliance KY this weekend or follow me on Instagram @wiggins3377. I'll post them real time there. (pardon my hairy legs)

I love the purple accents on the car. It really looks good. Others might not think so but I like color.

Thanks, the purple really works well with the color variations in the 40th paint.

Hey Wiggins, thinking about ordering the stillen sideskirts also and was wondering if they sit noticeably lower than stock?

I have the varis front lip and planning on getting the rear diffuser and want to make sure they are evenly level at the bottom.

It's been so long since I had stock sides it's really hard for me to judge. If I had to guess they probably sit about the same height as OEM just the different shape makes them look lower. Here is a side shot of my car. It has a lip and rear spats which I would guess are very similar to the Varis. As you can see you can't really see a difference on the height of each item. They flow pretty well.

They look like they are lower but maybe my eyes are seeing what they want to see haha. Thanks for the picture I'll be ordering soon. Did you go directly through Stillen?

*EDIT* realized they only look lower because your car is nearly slammed

Been awhile since I updated my thread. Last week was pretty exciting given the fact I had my Top Secret exhaust and Tanabe y pipe installed. I love the system, however I really need to get my Berk test pipes installed and a good tune, because the sound is way to quiet for me. I also purchased a splitter for my custom front bumper. Fly1Motorsports will be making it in the next couple of weeks and will be sending it over. Hopefully before my next big show.

On a slightly different note, I have a spare set of Top Secret Intakes im trying to sell. Let me know if youre interested.

How is the Platinum VIP kit?

Meulen 09-03-2014 08:23 AM

those bars look sooooooo SICK! just a thought, but any chance there is some kind of trim strips you can clean up the holes that were cut in the interior panels? would just put it over the top!!!. :)

I really like it. In combination with stance coils you can still get the car low and make the vehicle functional from a performance perspective. My only gripe with the system is how stiff I have to make the coils to drive, and that's really my fault for going so aggressive with my wheels (I don't want to scratch them up), Im hoping the treat I have in store from Carbon Signal will help solve that issue and allow me to run a wider tire as well as soften the suspension a bit to a more comfortable drive.

Since this pic I removed the GT spec cross bar and replaced the strut panels. Now you cant see any of the holes and the small hole I drilled on the top of the panel to adjust my coils damping is covered with a body retainer. It really cleans it up.
