SPL end links. Why the hell does SPL have to be so damned expensive? Freaking $400 for 4 end links.

Haha I usually have no problem going back to sleep, but I took like a 6 hour nap (I think that's not a nap after 6 hours, it's just called sleep) so I was all screwed up. I'm sitting g at the ENT doctor's office right now trying to stay awake.

Well I just installed my rear camber arms, and took apart the front one that wouldn't behave. Turns out I had the rubber boot and corresponding bolt turned around so that it wasn't sticking out far enough, hence why it would only hit -1.6° instead of 0.0. I'm gonna get another alignment tomorrow and see what happens, I want my specs to be -1.2 in the front and -1.6 in the rear.

You've been busy! Nice mod list.
|
Indeed I have, thanks man! You should have seen me the two months before Zdayz, I was installing stuff left and right trying to get it all ready. I got it 95% the way inward ted, went to Zdayz and had a blast, then came home and got rear ended the next day. Sonofabitch.

Got another alignment two days ago after installing the rear SPC camber arms. I was hoping I didn't have to install the toe bolts but it looks like I do. I got the front wheels to -1.2° and requested the rears to be -1.6°, but because the toe was coming out too much I had him keep that in spec and leave the rear camber at about -2.2°.
Slowly but surely I'm getting my stance just where I want it. I still need to drop the front a little bit to get it to sit more flush. I've been having problems with scraping at the height I was at before so I got under the front and set the preload a fair amount higher so that the shocks font compress as much, but of course when I did that it raised the car up some, so now I have to go through the process of lowering it some and seeing where it sits, then adjusting again. Fun fun. My goal is to have maybe ¼" to ½" of space between the tire and the fender without rubbing. Idk if that's realistic, but we'll find out. Zdayz 2014!! |

Haven't really been on the forum at all for a long while, now my time is taken up with photography and car part installs for my club and doing club admin shyte. I've been lurking in the photography section of the forum, I'm trying to start up a picture business doing portraits and weddings, all the usual stuff. I've done a few mods since the last time I updated this thread, I'll have to go out and take pics and update this. I figure even if nobody here really reads it, it's a good backup for parts proof of ownership if I ever have to deal with insurance for some reason, say, theft or accident. I'll post up some in a bit, gotta go back to working on building my photography website :)
