Had a little surprise on the car yesterday.... checked the suspension out after the trip and the rear Camber Arm had both locknuts backed off substantially on the drivers side! Nothing had moved in regards to camber settings, but I was shocked to see the nuts backed off. I torqued them back on and checked all the others too. Just that one side was loose... weird.

Warranty!!

jk

wheee! 09-13-2012 03:16 PM

lol... I called myself and complained about the technician (me) that installed them....

Quick370z 09-13-2012 04:14 PM

good thing you check out suspension often know you had that issue with the spacer

i pretty much want to do the same setup as you

wheee! 09-13-2012 10:34 PM

Very True!... always check and double check your work on your car. I always do a before and after inspection just for peace of mind. It's so easy to miss something and it's usually a quick fix if you find it early!

I have my wheels at Wheel Works getting re-painted for next season. They are doing the Hyper Silver finish like stock, but spraying the barrels gloss black. Should look nice on the car!
The re-spray was due to the clearcoat chipping and peeling from the first spray job and the tires being mounted too soon.

Vertigo 11-15-2012 10:58 AM

Looks good man. You already know! :tiphat:

Minor winter update...

Got my wheels back from a performance wheel shop here in town. They repainted the wheels because of the chipped clearcoat from the last paint job. They stepped it up a notch this time and redid the wheels with a two tone finish - hyper silver outside and a gloss black inside barrel! I really like it and it should be easier to wash and keep clean now!

I have a house style gas furnace. It's a Bryant Plus 80. My dad had it in his shop, brand new unused, so he gave it to me cause he wasn't using it.... I paid for the install (gas line) and the plenum/vent only! Sweet deal and a super comfy garage! It vents out the side of the garage too so it was a super easy install. :icon17:

GaleForce 02-08-2013 06:06 PM

Awesome deal!

My garage is fully insulated but I haven't installed a heater yet. Maybe this summer/fall.

 great idea!!! We will prob install a wood-burner in our behemoth:tup:

wheee! 02-08-2013 08:45 PM

Best investment ever! Now my expensive car care products don't freeze.... And I can work year round in the garage!

wheee! 04-30-2013 10:49 PM

LED's installed all around. These are the map lights... left one 6000K and stock right

http://www.the370z.com/members/wheee...map-lights.jpg

http://www.the370z.com/members/wheee...rror-mount.jpg

simota1 05-01-2013 02:43 AM

clean install buddy!!! and loving the LEDs.... those piss colored oem lights suck at night :(

wheee! 05-01-2013 07:32 AM

I was pretty happy with the install! I did the map lights, marker lights in the headlights, trunk light, license plate lights, and new chromed rear indicator lights!.... and then I switched up to 6000k HID's up front too.

... pulling the taillights out was stupid hard. Not hard as in physically, but hard as in stoopid. All the plastic panels gotta come out, then the top panels, then 2 big bolts and one tiny one on the inside! I can see people taking their car to the dealer to change a dead bulb and getting raped for a $200 service fee to do it too! Oh well, it's done now!

LOL! After the way you buttraped the interior of your car already, I don't think you are going to be shy about pulling a couple panels!!! :bowrofl:

Mitco39 05-01-2013 10:27 AM

She did get a solid F-ing from me over the winter, and she liked it! haha.

edconline 05-01-2013 10:28 AM

Looking good Mark! You know what's worse than pulling out the tail lights once? Pulling them out again after everything is back together because you forgot to put the bulbs back in :p

wheee! 05-01-2013 10:40 AM

....wow
