I know how you feel. :shakes head:

How long will your recovery be? Any chance you'll be able to attend the Z1 Nationals in October?

Recovery at least 12 weeks. :shakes head: Taking the insurance off of the Z tomorrow. Parking it for the winter basically. By the time I get healed. Snow should be flying.

That's a serious downer. I hope you surprise your doctors and heal much faster!

As crappy as that sounds, it is probably for the best. I hope you recover well over the winter and hit the roads hard and fast this coming spring/summer.

For you guys, it'll be a blind of an eye. For me, it's going to be misery because of not being able to do stuff. And I'm not the kind to sit down and do nothing. I'm taking some time off. :icon17: We're heading for Denver on the 17th. Going to see the grandkids.

I might be. But not my rifles. I was starting load development for 2 of my deer rifles. Trying new bullets.

Finally fingered out how to take pictures and down load them with one hand, and one finger typing. Here's pictures of the OS Giken diff, stub shaft, bearings, seals, filter, and fitting.

Rutsy, what mod did you do for the lower engine cover to the 3 little plastic pop rivets that always pop out and go missing. I just did an oil change today and all 3 of mine were missing. First time this has ever happened.

Rusty 08-27-2017 10:10 PM

Here's my thread on fixing the problem. PM me your address, and I will send you 4 rivet-nuts. I have a couple extra. ;)
