Are we plasti-dipping the bumper to see if u want to go through the paint or you just gonna paint it straight out?

I really want to try that new metalizer finisher for it lol.

Definitely have the fangs black, but my favorite is #4. I think #5 makes the edges look more out of place and not as much a part of the car. Don't get me wrong, I think any one of those is going to look good.

I think we're just going to plasti dip the fangs and leave it like that. I don't want to paint it permanently so plasti dip should be ok. If you want to try it out we can do it in a small section somewhere on the car and then take it off.

I'll try to get the bumper installed at Kirk's garage after the meet on Saturday. Would have tried for sometime this week but I have classes starting Wednesday :(

The added bonus of a 3 piece lip, I can always get the middle part painted later and change up the look :tup:

Actually I have a better idea. Why don't we just install the bumper at your place and plasti dip the fangs as well. You can bring the altima to my place to get the bumper (will it fit in the altima?) then we can go to the meet and to your house after that. If not that, maybe I can get my cousin to drive my Z to the meet and I can bring the bumper in my dad's minivan.

Lol I'm not even sure it would fit in the Altima, I'll have to see about this weekend. May not be able to go to the meet. :(

If you can't then we might as well wait till later to do the fangs.

Bumper is sitting in my room right now and it came with clear bra! Just need to clean it up a bit then find time to install it.

Just finished blacking out my fangs with plasti dip. Took 3.5 hrs in this damn freezing cold weather. Would have probably taken 1 hr in the summer. It's not perfect, but came out pretty nice for a 1st try. Forgot to clean the fangs before spraying them and it probably would have looked better/smoother if I had.

Looks good! Must have been fun waiting for each layer to dry in the 30 degree weather lol. You're right about it only taking an hour or less in warmer weather.

Thanks guys! Actually if you look at it closely in person, you can see where we oversprayed it and where the clear bra edges are. I should probably re-do it, but I'll wait till it warms up outside. It's fine for now.
