Your Z is great looking and your camera must be expensive one... the pictures are great.

Thanks for the comments guys, it's been a while since I've done anything new to the Z, so this last week I installed Fast Intentions cat back exhaust (first performance mod!!! Bout damn time) with 18" resonators (amazing sound with absolutely zero drone) and have it set up perfectly with my evo-r diffuser by utilizing a few washers on the rear mounting points of the exhaust. I also flushed the rear differential and transmission fluid and installed Powertrix coilovers! 8 hour day working on the Z, ran into a few too many problem bolts when installing the coils and had to make a run to the autoparts store for some fluids and washers etc.... however this thing feels, sounds, and drives like a totally different car, I'm super stoked! Finally got rid of my fender/wheel gap and got some nice power/sound/looks with the F.I. Exhaust.

I'm definitely taking this puppy out for a photo shoot tomorrow and posting some before and after shots for you guys. There has been some worry I've noticed on this forum about fitment with the F.I. Exhaust's larger tips fitting properly with the evo-r diffuser, and I plan to erase all doubts anyone would have about them working together and not only that but also how amazing they look together.

Thanks Blake! Kind of depressing when you've got a car that looks like somewhat of a speed demon lol and yet your car is silent, the fast intentions is definitely doing it for me, very satisfied. And it puts me one step closer to getting the boosted performance kit once it's in production.

Thanks Ken.

Great turn out at the show as usual. I'll have to measure to be sure but from the looks of it, I've only got about 3" clearance all around maybe less.

And guys it's my 21st Birthday on the 13th this month so if anyone wants to send me to Vegas on their stacked up CC miles just give me a shout!

picture update!!!

I haven't posted anything in my journal for too long! so here's a quick pic I took yesterday of the rear end of the Z. Never posted a picture with the Evo-r diffuser but I've had it installed for months now. the gap between the AeroJacket spats and the Diffuser is invisible when viewing from the back but this shot was taken with the camera on the ground a few feet from the car facing somewhat upwards so it emphasized the gap a lot.

I've also since the last picture update lowered the car on Powertrix Coilovers and installed Fast Intentions Catback Exhaust with 18" resonators, changed my rear diff fluid, and changed the tranny fluid all while we had it up for the exhaust install. I also had the dealer install new OEM front rotors because mine were warped and caused shaking when braking at highway speeds, and would squeak when braking at 1-5mph, and had them align it after letting the coils settle.

The picture is slightly out of focus, I was shooting the lens wide open to blur the background and thought this shot looked in focus when viewing on the cameras display but once I uploaded it to the computer realized it wasnt.

Hope to have more pics up soon, this lip kit looks rediculously good after I finally have the car lowered. Within the next month I'm going to get my wheels sand blasted (currently matte black) and re-powdercoated gloss black and get a paint matched Monterey Blue pinstripe around the wheel as well as order a black Texas plate with a custom message I think you guys will like, already have my stillen front plate bracket ready!

Thanks Blake! You gotta see it in person and I gotta check out that Zele kit! We should do that casino meet sometime soon

VDC_OFF 11-06-2012 03:41 PM

Love the blue. Do you think the gap is because of bad craftsmanship or its designed not to go all the way to the edges?

Z RATED OKC 11-06-2012 06:28 PM

I'm down for a casino meet man, let me know an ill try to bring some other z's with me
