After reading Clutch pedal too soft/no feel? Remove the helper spring! I removed the clutch pedal helper spring a few days ago. Today i put on a replacement spring from Century Spring. Part#72577 (Thanks bluenoser) I was told this spring is about 20% as strong as the OEM spring. and it really only gets rid of the little bit of looseness that was there sans spring.
What a world of difference!!! It feels like your diving a proper stick again!!! I'm able to feel the engagement of the clutch like I'm used to and i drive much more smoothly then i have since first buying the Z. I didn't really notice anything was wrong before taking the OEM spring off, i just thought i was still getting used to the car. I highly recommend this!!! |
