6spd: A Lesson In Subtlety

if the intake tubes were red, would've made your engine bay look 10x better! Otherwise nice start, I'm assuming you went with the Nismo exhaust to keep the OEM feel?

well stock is what i was when i bought the car, but I enjoy when a manufacturer offers quality options more often than I like aftermarket stuff. And "better parts" is purely perspective. What I have fits what I wanted "better" than anything else I looked at or have had.

The red tubes would have been too much, IMO, and yeah, the Nismo exhaust Im in love with, opened up the top end a bit and really kept the low end back pressure nicely. Plus I love the sound!

"Better parts" isn't purely perspective. A lot of aftermarket parts are designed with greater efficiency in mind. They replace parts which are made under the constraints of a very tight design and production budget with parts designed purely, and often without compromise, to serve a function. There are definitely low quality aftermarket parts out there, but if you do your research you will find that there are definitely many options that are much better than factory pieces.

Again, "better" is in every way a perspective. From MY perspective, "better" means it achieves a purpose that another part from another company can not. I don't know how much clearer I can get. It may not be "better" in your eyes, but that is solely your perspective in things. You can get into an analytical breakdown of quality and effectiveness if you want, but I dont, thats not my game here. My game is to simply enjoy the car and leave the forum battles to someone else.

edit: back on topic, the kick plates look great at night, as does the GTR start button!
