That being said ....... only time will tell. I'm going to wait for the metal CSC to be released just for the reason of the extra strength in the construction. From what I've seen in the pictures, it has great potential.

As you said, time will tell. As of right now the clutch feels perfect and considering its aggressive, it is very smooth and the stiffness has eased up a lot. I'm curious to find a stock 370z to push the clutch on to see just how much of a difference there is now since I've probably forgotten what stock feels like already.

Hey everyone,
So a while back I talked about how I was developing carbon stuff with a local company and that it was put on hold for a while because they were developing BMW 1 series stuff. Just wanted to give everyone a reason to wait for them to do the 370z.. They just recently released a full replacement trunk for the 1 series and are about to release a hood. Check out the quality and just how damn good this looks. I talked to them about doing a full spoiler in carbon that would be one piece, but would look like the stock sports package spoiler with the mine's add-on. It would lip up sort of like their trunk does, except it would be a separate piece. ![]() ![]() ![]() What do you guys think? We'll be making a lot more than just a spoiler ![]() EDIT: I dug up a little more on the other stuff they did for the 1 series so far and found some pictures for you guys http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...31&postcount=1 Seems like they had some issues shipping stuff on time in the past, but are have now learned their lesson and will not advertise anything they don't have in stock and ready to go. I guess these things happen to young companies. Last edited by RCZ; 06-01-2010 at 02:33 PM. |

dang RCZ, it def does look beautiful. I was about to jump on-board with the Mines cf group buy, but if your suggesting a whole one piece spoiler then idk I might have to wait. What about the diffuser/any interior pieces in CF?

...oh and was the CF stuff for the BMW reasonably priced, trying to get an idea on how things will be priced for the 370Z. The diffuser is what im really interested in, and as long as it actually fits and is not like that EVO-R garbage(poor fitment), then im all in

When I talked to them originally, they said they would sell parts for reasonable prices and I will hold them to it. I'm gonna start getting on their case about it and see how soon we can get some prototypes. One thing I'd like to be clear about is that I am not affiliated with this company in any way. They are local to me and I can help them develop something for the 370z community. I will keep you guys updated, but I cannot guarantee anything! Last edited by RCZ; 06-01-2010 at 04:10 PM. |
