For a flat out purchase of your stock suspension or for a trade+cash?

I assume since you already have KWs, you're talking about a straight purchase. The problem is though that the KWs re-use the OEM top hats which I need. I need to buy from someone who purchased BC Racing coilovers or another coilover brand that does not re-use any of the stock suspension parts.

RCZ 07-23-2010 06:50 PM

gotcha, ok. Sorry I couldnt help. Good luck Mike.

No worries. Thanks though!

JB-370z 07-23-2010 07:00 PM

I got a stock suspension with only 8k miles on them, PM me with offer Mike

theDreamer 07-23-2010 07:02 PM

Maybe I should be looking into your coilovers Mike, I might be able to keep the car down for a few days while I send my parts out. Shoot me a PM with what you are looking for on trade plus cash and how it would work.

I have the BC ER's, they perform really well. Slightly stiffer spring than stock so a slightly firmer ride, also a slight drop over stock ride height at the highest setting and can be adjusted plenty low. I would say it is a best buy for track enthusiasts but 100% street cars might want something more comfortable.

M.Bonanni 08-06-2010 12:41 PM

Here's an update on the rest of the stuff on my part-out...

BC Racing ER Type Coilovers - Pending Sale

19" SSR SP-3 Wheels (BRAND NEW) - Going to be putting some used Nitto Invo tires on them to hopefully aide with the sale. Tires are 275f/305r and are coming off my 19" Forgestars. Plan on getting them mounted early next week. Price will go up to $3250 shipped.

19" Forgestar F14 Wheels - Once the tires come off, they will go up for sale so hopefully boxed and ready to ship by Tuesday or Wednesday. 19x9+24f 19x11+33r, matte black. Price will be $1000 shipped.

AE Performance Oil Cooler Kit - Will hopefully finally get this off the car next week, but we'll see. When I do finally get it off, price will be $820 shipped.

Mishimoto Radiator Hoses (Black)
- Hoping to get them off the car at the same time as the oil cooler. Price will be $120 shipped.

Mishimoto Low-Temp Thermostat - Awesome mod, except it will throw a CEL. Same time frame as the hoses & oil cooler to get it off the car. $50 shipped.

Carbonetic 1.5 Way LSD - Going to try and make an appointment to have this swapped back to stock sometime next week. Price will be $900 shipped.

Odyssey PC680 Lightweight Battery + Mount - Pending sale.

StopTech Slotted Front Brake Rotors - Pending Sale

EVO-R Carbon Fiber Fang Cover - Pending Sale

Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel - Pending Sale

Caravanshaka 08-06-2010 12:44 PM

so have you decided on a new daily driver?

the_student 08-06-2010 12:48 PM

It's between an '08+ STI or a BMW 335i Sedan, whichever I find 1st. I am assuming it will be an STI since a 6MT 335i Sedan with black interior isn't that easy to find. :)

No dibs, first to pay gets 'em. :)

M.Bonanni 08-06-2010 01:10 PM

Just made an appointment at a shop to take the LSD out on Tuesday, so it will be ready to ship on Wednesday the 11th!

Nissan 370Z Forum - Caravanshaka's Album: STI

M.Bonanni 08-06-2010 02:15 PM

Nice! How do you like it so far?

Caravanshaka 08-06-2010 02:19 PM

I'd love to tell you, but I haven't taken delivery yet

it's got a cobb downpipe and access port with a custom tune putting down 290hp and 355 tq on a dyno dynamics :excited:
I needed something to carry the baby around, just didn't mention to my wife that it will be as fast or faster than the Z :rofl2:

It's in St Louis at the moment, if I can't get a flight out there tomorrow to drive it home, then it's getting picked up by a shipping truck monday.

M.Bonanni 08-06-2010 02:43 PM

Awesome! I have my eye on one here in Vegas. Hopefully they will still have it by the time my Z is back to stock.

Caravanshaka 08-06-2010 03:36 PM

this one? http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false :)

M.Bonanni 08-06-2010 03:39 PM

Hahaha yes actually. Good price for an '09 with that many miles. Probably because of the less than tasteful choice of mods...Going there tonight to take a closer look at it. Hate the wheels, hate the hood pins. Looks from the photos like they tried to use a chemical cleaner on the lips and effed up the faux titanium finish. Also looks like the hood is yellowed. All ammo to drive down the price even more. Maybe I can even get them to take the Z, give me the STI, and a check for a few grand to fix all that crap.

:rofl2: good luck :)

I agree, hood and wheels look terrible, but can be easily fixed. I didn't look too hard at the other stuff, but appears the engine bay is stock.

i bought the blue one with 25k miles on it for $26,500 to give you an idea.

Yeah thats a killer price. The used one here I am looking at blue books at $36k still and is marked down to $30k. My Z blue books trade-in at $30k as well, so hoping at least for a straight trade. I am definitely not paying to take home that car since I will have to put another $1-2k in fixing the ugly stuff.

Based on book value's you should be ok, hopefully they might offer to fix a few of the eye-sores too

If you want I'll email you the rest of the pics not in my album, although I don't think I have the dyno graph saved.

Mike 08-06-2010 04:23 PM

just powdercoat those wheels on the subie black and be done with that part of it!

M.Bonanni 08-06-2010 04:23 PM

Sold locally.

M.Bonanni 08-19-2010 06:14 PM

Car is at the body shop getting the holes from the Kognition Design wing patched up and the stock spoiler put back on!

AE Performance Oil Cooler and COBB AccessPORT are the last aftermarket things I have for the car that aren't already up for sale. Car is "supposed" to be back on Tuesday the 24th, so I can have the oil cooler off and the AP back in my hands by mid next week. So those of you who are waiting for those two products, get ready! :)
