Well at least you're not a traitor like some other people we know! :stirthepot:

Hey, I've got a 4-point ladder brace for sale, only slightly used. It's $5,499

Now get a damned SC for your Z!

:rofl2:

No FI unless I hit the lottery or get one for free. :)

Version 3 will be very mild compared to what it has been in the past as I still plan on getting rid of the car eventually, just not for another year or two until I save up enough money to get something I really want. Just coilovers, wheels, exhaust and maybe a few styling mods.

Which dealers on here carry Password:JDM now? Looking to purchase another shift knob.

Shouldn't that be re-reintroduced?

Haha, maybe...although the first time I "re-introduced" it was just because Double Down Motorsports wasn't around anymore. This time its really a new project.

vipor 10-01-2010 01:17 PM

:excited:

TARGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

M.Bonanni 10-01-2010 01:50 PM

Re-purchased my old used SPL Parts Pro Rear Camber Arms from the guy I sold them to! Also just bought a GTR start button and Password:JDM shift knob from Scott @ Fontana Nissan. Got all of the inexpensive stuff out of the way to satisfy the mod bug for a bit while I save up wheels & coilovers. :) Actually, I need to re-purchase new front rotors again first...

phelan 10-01-2010 04:21 PM

lol^^^

Random fact: The first part I purchased for this re-build is the exact same part that I purchased as my first mod back in February of 2009 for this car. Full circle.

Valentino 10-02-2010 12:49 AM

Welcome back Mike.

welcome back bro :D

I just read most of your blog Mike, great stuff! You should try writing an article for Jalopnik as they are looking for a weekend writer ($10,000 pay, 6 months) as you have a good writing style.

Mike 10-02-2010 12:11 PM

welcome back!

M.Bonanni 10-02-2010 09:50 PM

Thanks everyone! Although I never really left... :)

Yep! On Fast Lane Daily from this past Time Attack.

travisjb 10-02-2010 10:22 PM

sweet! nice job... you're becoming famous! we need to write them a note and tell them to stop calling you "that driver"!

PS all, here's Mike's coverage from FLD... lots of great shots of his Berk BMW ride and you can see him around 2:10

Ordering Stillen J-Hook rotors today! Also ordered some OEM caliper re-build kits from Fontana Nissan. Brakes could use a re-freshing after all of the track days I have done.

M.Bonanni 10-05-2010 04:02 PM

Help me choose a caliper color... Go vote!

RCZ 10-05-2010 05:59 PM

ahh so you're a mere mortal like all of us now too :)

christian370z 10-05-2010 06:08 PM

I voted, definately GTR Gold. It is very classy but not quite as flashy as bright yellow which complements the car.

m4a1mustang 10-05-2010 06:09 PM

Red or Yellow for the calipers!

M.Bonanni 10-13-2010 04:46 PM

It's all about the details. Cheap thrills while I save up for my brake system re-build...

It's an OEM part so I got mine from Scott at Fontana Nissan.

RCZ 10-13-2010 05:48 PM

does it stick out so much that its distracting or can you tone it out?

Its subtle.

The Berk Technology 135i is suffering from electrical issues so it didn't make this last weekend's Redline Time Attack event up at Infineon. I decided to take my 370Z and enter it into Street Tire RWD class to get some points since points go with the driver not the car. It rained all weekened which leveled the playing field and I ended up winning my class by over 12 seconds in my bone stock Z! While that may sound cool, a lot of the fast "regulars" in my class weren't there and if the event were in the dry, I am sure the results would have been much different even with the cars that did show up. With the points gained and only one more round to go, I am officially the 2010 Street Tire RWD Champion!

The oil temps kept in check simply because of the lack of throttle I could apply in the extremely wet conditions. If it were dry I don't think the car would have lasted a full lap. Here are some photos from the event which show how wet it was, and it was worse than this at times...

In other 370Z news, Paul Dentice and AE Performance killed it yet again in the Enthusiast RWD class in the wet without traction control or ABS.

ChrisSlicks 10-26-2010 11:02 AM

Wow that was wet!

Congrats on the championship, you must be psyched!

m4a1mustang 10-26-2010 11:04 AM

That first shot is pretty badass. :D

Thanks! It's a great feeling, but would feel even better if we can get the Berk car back on its feet and do well at the finals.
