phelan 05-21-2010 01:13 PM

gently used, no problem :rofl2:

vipor 05-21-2010 01:22 PM

He said something about an off-camber downhill turn on the LV track.

M.Bonanni 05-21-2010 02:34 PM

lol, it was the only box I had that fit the ladder brace. Those things don't bend ya know. :)

Yes, the majority of the scraping came from "the drop" at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. Its a dramatic elevation change where the car experiences high compression at the bottom and during that compression stage you start your turn-in for the next corner. Hence why its slightly more beat up on one side than the other.

vipor 05-21-2010 03:06 PM

Yeah I figured as much lol. I was out at a jobsite with a customer and when I came back it was next to my desk. I just laughed. :tiphat:

Thanks for the speedy delivery even though it wasn't necessary. Got about a month until I'll be putting them on.

I think I've convinced myself to get some brake lines and pads before my next track day too. Thankfully I can wait for the pads until the last minute heh. Damned CC is getting the best of me.

M.Bonanni 05-24-2010 12:18 PM

Following items sold...

PWJDM Battery/Brake Fluid Covers
PWJDM Radiator Cooling Panel
PWJDM Oil Cap
GTMotoring Tow Hook
EVO-R Mirror Covers

That just leaves the brand new in box 19" SSR SP3 wheels, and Kognition Designs V1 wing left for sale at this point in time.

vipor 05-24-2010 12:20 PM

I thought someone wanted the wing?

Wheels are waaaayyyyyyy down on my list. GL

There are 4 people who say they want the wing, but nobody has made a move on it. First come first served. :)

M.Bonanni 05-25-2010 11:16 AM

My track wheels/tires are up for sale/trade! 18" Forgestar F14 w/Nitto NT05 tires...

vipor 05-25-2010 11:38 AM

Wow that's a great price Mike. If I tracked more I could justify it and I'd snatch em up

the_student 05-25-2010 01:52 PM

I want the 19" forgestars...that might be a long wait. I got scuffed up sport wheels if you want to trade plus some cash? Its worth a shot lol. Anyways...suscribed.

JB-370z 05-25-2010 03:52 PM

The only bad thing is those 18'' wheels might not fit the sport brakes.

They for sure fit the sport brakes with room to spare. What do you think I have on my car? :)

ChrisSlicks 05-25-2010 05:39 PM

The Forgestar 18" easily clear the sport brakes and they even fit the Stillen AP Racing 6-piston calipers.

Mike, could u tell me about the JDM cooling plate. I'm not interested in buying it since it's sold, but does it just go on top of the area in the engine buy or do u replace something/take something out to install it. Basically does it go over something or do u have to take something out to install it....

It replaces the plastic piece that is there, fairly simple replacement (10 push pins or so), pull out the old one and put the new one in.

gotta wiggle the front bumper a little bit to get it underneath, though.

True, but that is very minor.

370zForever 06-08-2010 02:37 PM

Thanks for the info....

M.Bonanni 06-10-2010 02:35 PM

what everyone else said. :)

370zForever 06-10-2010 03:29 PM

Mike, Last question....Sorry to keep bothering u, but I remembered that u drove a BMW with an APR splitter somewhere, but I had a question about the splitter. Do u think u could give me an estimate of the weight of the APR splitter on the BMW, I want to get an idea of how heavy it would be on the 370z...

Thnx

I have no idea. I wasn't the one who installed it. The first time I saw it, it was already on the car.

370zForever 06-10-2010 04:27 PM

lol, that's cool,

thanks

Scott @ RA 06-11-2010 01:55 PM

Not sure if I can help here, but the APR splitters are actually pretty heavy to be honest. I have installed one on an S2000 and on a 370Z just the other day. There is also one on the BC Racing widebody Time Attack G35 that I drive (that I helped install). There is not a lot of splitter options out there on the aftermarket so its great that APR makes them..... but they are pretty damn heavy..... LOL

370zForever 06-11-2010 02:23 PM

Thanks, I've been considering APR, but I think I'll go to either Robispec or if I'm not too serious, I might go Stillen if I find that it is a true splitter and not a little lip on the front of the Z. It's made of Urethane, so I have no idea how heaavy it could be.....Thanks though

NYBladeZ 06-15-2010 11:19 PM

Still waiting for you to put up that Berk CBE, no rush ;)

M.Bonanni 06-21-2010 03:42 PM

370Z JT 06-22-2010 03:21 AM

I haven't come up with a price yet. I am going to clean them up, take them off the car, and inspect them for minor defects. I know there aren't any major defects.

They will be officially up for sale soon.

RCZ 06-22-2010 07:27 PM

in for pics and probably take them off your hands if they are in good shape.

M.Bonanni 07-23-2010 06:31 PM

Haven't updated this thread in a while as not much has been going on with my car as of late. I did sell some stuff to some buddies here locally though so I wanted to update that. Sold were the HFCs/cat-back, SPL rear camber arms, SPC front control arms, and EVO-R side blades.

I am at the moment looking to buy some stock coilovers or offer trade for stock + cash for my BC Racing ER Type coilovers, however I would need your stock stuff first since the Z is my only mode of transportation.
