Swift Spec-R springs on order from Scott@FontanaNissan! ETA next week.

Was saving up for coilovers but it was taking too long so I decided to go springs instead since its just a daily driver and use the leftover money as a good start for my exhaust fund.

Nice choice on the springs Mike! I am really interested in your opinion on them once you get some seat time, I love mine so far but you have a lot more experience than I am at discerning suspension setups.

Change of plans on the suspension setup. Springs are out, going back to BC Racing ER Type coilovers! Couldn't pass up this deal.

Same, just the off-the-shelf 12/10 setup.

Make sure you specify 12/10 as apparently the default is 10/8 even for the ER. I know all the original orders you placed for the ER's got shipped as 12/10 so I'm sure you know what you are doing.

I don't mind either way personally since its just for daily driving use, but I was always under the impression the ERs were off-the-shelf at 12/10. At least that was the original plan back when they were first released.

Damn! I was looking forward to you getting the Swifts haha, you made the better choice though especially with your experience.

Well for what its worth, after researching it seems the Swifts are the most thought out lowering spring on the market for the 370. They don't over-lower the car past the point where the suspension geometry starts to go to s**t and the spring rates are designed to work within the damper range of the OEM shocks, but still stiffer than stock. Not to mention Swift springs are just flat out better quality. Their actual rates are more consistent between a full set and they are usually lighter, plus they don't contort and bind under compression like others do.

Hey Mike I just picked up DSport magazine and I realized on the cover it said Redline Time Attack! I wondered if I'd see you driving the berk bmw but man I see a sweet picture of your Brilliant Silver 370z in action!
Says Buddy Club Street RWD Class Winner: Mike Bonanni | 370z | 2:26.548!
Amazing time and congrats on yet another triumph!
I noticed you do not have your rear valence so I'm assuming this was couple months ago.
Sick driving in the rain!
Kick *** and take names!

Oh nice! Thanks for the compliments! I haven't seen it yet. The Berk BMW didn't make it to that event so to salvage points toward the championship I entered my bone stock 370Z. Luckily it was raining since I didn't have an oil cooler or anything and I ended up getting an unexpected win out of it haha. It was a fun event and yes, it was back in October '10 so it was a few months ago. As for the number, the number and the points travel with the driver so long as I drive in the same class.
