Thanks Guys,
I can't wait to be able to put my Berk's onto my Z, in fact I received my HFC's in the mail yesterday (after them being there a day). Gotta love the hookup on free 1 day shipping

I got a lot of those parts I ordered recently in the Mail, I will try to get some real pictures up here today or tomorrow.

**UPDATE**

As of 06/29/2016 I got another update on the Z;

Paint/clear should be finished by the end of the day on the 30th, latest. Then Friday, 7/1/16, would be the installation of painted parts and hoping to have my Z back later on Friday evening or Saturday morning! :rofl2:

It appears I may have my Z back just in time for the Bobs Big Boy Monthly Meetup with an entire new outfit on the Z :driving::tup: :inoutroflpuke:

birdman71 07-03-2016 05:41 PM

**UPDATE**
I will be picking up the Z as of 7/4/16 from the shop at about 2pm unless they call me earlier. If you want to cruise :driving::driving::driving: afterward I already have one possibly two people meeting me at the shop in South Gate,CA

Send me a message or if you have my phone number text me

As promised, these are just some of the pics I was able to take so far without driving around most of the rest of the day haha! I literally drove around for no reason yesterday. Missed my Z that much haha :driving:

Again want to give a big thanks to Lohit over at Fly1 Motorsports for helping me with this build by Sponsoring me, and cannot wait for the photoshoot next weekend! My bad on the 1 blurry pic so far. I will have much more being uploaded as I just have to take some more. Got carried away driving around, I'm sure plenty of others took pictures of my car yesterday, caught multiple people doing so

I concur the wheels do look a lot better with this kit than before with OEM parts.
Nope, ended up keeping the Hood Full CF, I liked the exposed CF way and was keeping it as an idea for the future if I have to decide on clearing the entire CF again or painting it with exposed CF, but a little too rice rockety for my tastes after seeing the full CF hood with the kit.

As for the second kit, There is another Weber Sports Body Kit Lohit had in stock too with the DRL LED's that is being build this week. Their goal was for it to be ready this weekend. Since Lohit and I scheduled the Photoshoot for Saturday this weekend, I was hoping we are doing the shoot together and was the reason for the push on the completion of that kit.

It would be awesome having the First and Second West Coast, Second and Third in the US, Weber Sports Kits for the promo! :happydance::tup::driving:

Looking good, G

I know the driving around for no reason routine. I'm about to take a short break just to stretch her legs a bit. She's been on jack stands for over two weeks, and I've had no time to work on her. So I towed her to the shop last night, and Kevin had her ready this morning :driving:

Thanks brotha!

Oh yeah, used up a whole tank of gas on the 4th of July. I know I wasn't supposed to be driving with all the cops out, but a one cop that pulled up next to me gave me a thumbs up.
Usually they pull me over for being young and in a nice car lol Surprised not one cop did through 7 different cities that day.

Of course that tank didn't last more than 225 miles... wonder why... :icon18::driving::driving::driving:

Congrats on the car getting finished up, What all did you have to do on it?
Hopefully your drive is as good as mine was! :tiphat:

I installed the new RJM HD CMC and the latest pedal revision. Had some issues with the bleeding and kept running out of time, so I went ahead and towed it to the Austin Z Clinic yesterday, which thankfully is located in my neighborhood. Kevin installed a new slave cylinder I provided for my Z1 kit; I had ordered a replacement last week just in case. So new master and slave cylinders plus new clutch pedal and a good bleed = :driving: Now everything feels exactly like it did before icon17: But no more worries of the master cylinder failing :D

I really am tempted to post up the receipt in the CSC failure thread. The line item reads "slave cylinder remove and replace" for $180 :rofl2: There wasn't any removal because I had already done it. But Kevin put the new one in, bled the system, and then did some adjustment to the slave linkage for proper engagement. I think I might make one additional minor adjustment when I have it up to bleed the brakes in the near future. Other than that, everything is great.
