Now I'm sure I'm missing a couple things on there but that is the jist of everything I have planned so far for this Z :yum:

And if you guys have any suggestions on other parts to go along with the stages I have set up that would be great! As well as with whatever items I left in general, I am looking for some feedback regarding which parts would be best to look into for that modification.

Here are some current pictures of it after the installed parts of Stage 1; yes I know the snapchat ones look like hell. Phone was almost dead last night after I finished and wouldn't let me use my camera app, but it let me use snapchat lol so I just screenshotted from there, was too dark out to take other pictures after I was done cleaning up and getting everything back up to my place.

Thanks everyone in advance! :tiphat: :driving:

That sucks  there is a lot of things I wish I could do with my Z that the mods are only for the newer models though :icon14:
it is a nice and solid front lip. Nice sturdy fiberglass. Starting to get happy with how the Z is looking as compared to 4 months ago when I introduced myself here haha. On the outside it looked stock except for the rims

Pretty much how its been working.

The only Stage 1 mods I haven't bought from other forum members are the Rims and tires, the CAI, the clutch and the Z1 motorsports stuff, but found them off this forum anyhow lol.

birdman71 08-10-2015 11:46 AM

Thanks guys, hit a bit of a bump in the road and ended up working close to 90 hours each of the last 3 weeks, have had almost no time to install things lol. Hopefully I will get things underway again here soon

birdman71 08-17-2015 02:41 PM

Alright work has slowed down a bit and now back down to about 75 hrs a week lmao. SO now I have a bit of time to get work done on my car haha.

Have bought a couple things though in the last weeks and are in the process of buying some more parts. (refer to build section of researching to purchase)

So the build has been updated.

Also due to the fact that I been thinking lately. Unless I the huge amount of money to have upgraded every aspect of the engine, engine cooling/exhaust etc. to the point where I have the least possible chance of popping my engine then I will do it...

Or unless a company out there is reading this and would like to sponsor my Z hehe :bowrofl:

Other than that chances are going to stay N/A until literally everything is changed to like 1,250-1,500 hp capabilities (not saying I will push that whp)

birdman71 08-26-2015 06:22 PM

Hit a snag again due to "losing" my Seibon Spoiler.
Ended up getting the Type 3 Duckbill Carbon Fiber Spoiler and got the carbon fiber interior pieces and will have more pictures uploaded when those get installed. hoping when I get those installed that I am able to get some if not all of what else I need installed done as well.

birdman71 10-29-2015 04:12 PM

Ill get some updated pics up on here soon, Gotta clean her up inside and w/w/d then I'll get some good pictures going.

Goes in for the Mishimoto 19 row thermostatic oil cooler and Z1 Silicone hosing on Saturday 10/31/15.

Updated the OP parts too

birdman71 11-03-2015 06:01 PM

Mishimoto 19 row Oil Cooler and the z1 Silicone hosing are installed and doing amazing!

Going around daily driving I would usually sit at roughly 220F. In traffic or doing hill climbs it would go up to 240-250F.

Since this installation I have only grazed the 200F mark on the gauge. I guarantee if I push it track hard I would only hit 230F max.

Great product and pictures to come when I get a chance. Since the time change last Sunday its dark when I get out of work most of the time.

I know the car gets hot a lot but as long as it doesn't go into limp mode, what are the benefits of the oil cooler besides keeping the temps low? I mean, does it result in a better driving experience, smother shifting?

Well just in general when your car gets hotter into the 240-250F range consistently like when you're sitting in hot freeway traffic down where we live you have a chance of seals or spark plugs or something melting or failing. When you have it between the 200-230F range consistently is when you have the most engine life as well.

If you're in the market for an oil cooler and believe every review you hear then I would suggest going with like Z1's oil cooler or going with a Setrab. Although some more modification to get the oil cooler to fit will take place depending on your year. I've hear of power steering cooler replacements and other fluid reserves being moved or taken out. Also depends on how they install the oil cooler.
Plus in this day and age, products can be made in America but parts to make the part that is made in America are bought from China and Japan. So in my eyes if the part fails it was how the part was made. No two parts are made the same in production with car parts.

With my Mishimoto 19 row thermostatic oil cooler all that had to be done was to remove the Windshield washer fluid reserve. lol. I also had a product from mishimoto that was missing the bracket to hold the oil cooler to the radiator and called them up and they had it in the mail from China and at my door in 2.5 weeks that was including their investigation through my purchase order. Very friendly customer service over there.

Buy what you can afford but also remember that some reviews mean something but some are just another persons experience.
Like our CSC on Z's going out. That is a review that should not be missed when buying this vehicle, and most don't miss it. If someone has a part fail due to another part installed on their car, well that was just an unfortunate coincidence, not that the product is bad or doesn't work.

Well, got to finally spend some time on my Z over the weekend by washing waxing and polishing it. Entire exterior detail took about 3h 5m. Did the entire thing by hand with drying towels, microfiber towels, and application pads. Not only that got to do it all in the shade in the later afternoon while house sitting for my parents while they are out of town and taking care of the dog.

So i ended up taking my Z into the shop the other day for a low tire pressure light on on my tachometer and upon inspecting the tires i found 1 2-3cm crack in an odd place on the lip of the back side of the wheel where it curves down to the wall
so I ended up getting a set of 4 new wheels...

Say hello to my Avant Garde M540 chrome brushed finish wheels
