Actually, in the US it starts on July 10 instead of the 9th. So add 30 days to that and in North America it should be ending on the 8th.

Well Ramadan is based off the lunar calendar so no one knows the exact date until like the night before. I know thst you can look up phases of the moon with scientific data, but it really just depends on when your mosque wants to do it. It is weird and super annoying when you're trying to plan anything.

I'm used to it. Actually the part that bothers me is I can't work out during that time. Would be an excellent way to kill some time. Some people do it, but I don't want to be working out when I can't drink water.

Ok I am setting the date for the BBQ as August 10/11 for now. If everyone is cool with doing it on a Sunday, then we can do the 11th. Otherwise we can do it on the 10th and hope Ramadan ends earlier.

If you have any suggestions for other locations, please post those too. Then I can post up a poll so we can decide on the final location for the BBQ.

This would be no good for me; just found out I have a wedding that I will probably be going to on the 11th...in Texas...

Nothing planned the next three weekends though. I sure would hate to miss this, Dee has me so excited for it!

Yeah, I have no solid plans for when I'm flying out there but I would imagine that it will likely be the 9th through the 12th so I have time to catch up with some friends.

Hey, if you do it the following Saturday then nobody would have to work the next day (I would imagine) and Ramadan would for sure be over by then. :P

I think Andrew was leaving on the 15th. If the 17th works for everyone else, we can do that. My cousin's wedding isn't till the 24th of August.
