eastwest2300 05-22-2013 09:53 AM

Its pricey, but nice.. I'd think it wouldnt be bad putting 12 to 15 people in it, splitting the cost.

yea 10 people would be $80 a person to stay thats nice.

found a slightly more expensive newer one right down on the boardwalk in OC like $525 a night. but down in the heart of the boardwalk.

Belmont Towers Ocean City Condo Rental: Stay On Oc Boardwalk

EDIT: just looked it is cheaper depending on when it is booked lol

395 a night x 3 nights = $1200+tax
Throw 12 people at that makes it $33.33 a night. IM down. making a new thread for this so Blades can have his BBQ back

Dude....bunkbeds. Nuf said. So much room for activities.
Also is this a bro outing or are people bringing ladies?
Because that will be a fun time persuading my girl.
And is this replacing the BBQ event?

beach bbq party weekend lol :tiphat:

Sales@AAMComp 05-22-2013 10:26 AM

back on topic:

at my old job we always did company picnics at Patapsco Valley State Park
our last one was at the Avalon/Glen Artney area
Maryland Department of Natural Resources - Maryland Park Service

We rented a shelter a rather large shelter I think it was 30-50 people capacity. it was plenty of space, plenty of parking, walking distance to a huge pier that overlooked the river, in case anyone wants to do some fishing

Our shelter had a volleyball court, granted the court was filled with mulch?? lol but plenty of room to play ball, cornhole, etc etc

Sales@AAMComp 05-22-2013 10:28 AM

also, with NGC when we organize BBQs, the sign up sheet is pretty well drawn own, we make sure each participant brings 3 items. How much of each item? We tell them make sure you can feed 6 people per item, once everyone signs up, it's a HUGE cookout with plenty of food/drinks/etc

steve had that last year with the bbq first post.

b1adesofcha0s 05-22-2013 10:51 AM

The Ocean City weekend will be a separate event from the MAZOC BBQ.

We have plenty of time to figure out who's bringing what to the BBQ, but for now let's focus on finding a location and date. I will update the first post with all that stuff later.

my bad i got confused haha

late july/august should work out fine for me for the bbq

Sales@AAMComp 05-22-2013 12:40 PM

blades just pick a date, if people can go they'll go, if not well there's always next year!

b1adesofcha0s 05-22-2013 12:53 PM

I gotta figure out when I can go first :icon17:

Cristobal09 05-22-2013 12:55 PM

If its late July/early August, im there.

eastwest2300 05-22-2013 01:10 PM

Blades, I agree with Khoi, pick a date dude. Early August, so there's plenty of time to reserve whatever you gotta reserve and its plenty of time for people to plan accordingly.
