This guy. Although it certainly wasn't through the "smooth" method. More the "brute force" method.

I started cleaning up my laps a bit towards the end of the final season, and my best was 64.1 seconds. Apparently, someone about 175 lbs needed 62 second laps to use the 250 karts, so I'm close.

Actually...

You're lucky they black flagged me (for god knows why)

else I would have had it.

Fastest lap: 63.07

Yeah, my GF fiancee (gotta be careful, there) was pretty excited about the night time one. She may have been slow, but she had a lot of fun, and she showed CONSIDERABLE improvement, so I was proud of her.

I think her average time went from 120 seconds down to 87?

Yeah I definitely noticed she picked up speed, and in that last race she did a pretty good job at looking behind for faster traffic before she turned in. Josh's wife on the other hand... CHOP CHOP CHOP!!!

I found it fairly easy to navigate traffic to be honest, but I think having a bit of knowledge in Racecraft helped a LOT there.

I caught her getting a little sideways on turn 4 as I came up behind her, and it made me smile

Not sure about Rachel, I usually got by her fairly quickly lol, but I usually just assumed that the apex was unavailable if we were getting there simultaneously.

Both of them were scared of the brakes a bit - they'd cruise at a speed that DIDN'T involve the brakes much at all, so when they learn to trust them, they'll be better.

I have plenty of race craft knowledge too. Just happens that I caught her at bad spots and got chopped for the back half of the track. Even josh told me he was mad at her lololol.

Made two three wide passes in earlier runs that were super fun.

That's one reason I hope we all weigh in and run ballast next time. Instead of driving we'll race in big packs which will be super fun.

Helps when you weigh 50lbs wet, too haha. How much DO you weigh, anyway? Besides, time trials aren't racing, you know that...
