I posted this in the 1/4 drag sub-forum but here it is:

I think I was a shifting a bit too early, around 6900 or right at 7k, just old habit. pretty sure I could launch harder too but only two runs so first one was about 1500 rpm 2nd run I spun when I accidently smashed my foot to the floor cuz I missed the light, it caught me off guard

So what are the "Correct" shift points 1-4? I'm assuming you launch at ~2000...

actually launched at 1500-1600 that time which is why I'm thinking I could launch effectively at 2000-2500 and shift later. It'll take me a few more times to get the shift points better I'm sure so a few more trips to the track should help. t'was fun though.

I'll go with you next time. Was it windy at the track?

Also if you're spinning too much out of the hole (with your higher launch) we can also play around with the tire pressures
