I was texting Kirkster all day, he should have let everyone know what my status was, I tried to hurry back, Im literally just getting back.

You guys miss me?

Sick as I was, even I made it out today. I did miss you.

ZCarMan 03-09-2013 07:25 PM

Patricia and I had a great time seeing everyone and meeting up at the drag strip. It was a fantastic day for just getting out in the Z! Hope to see everyone next weekend in Fairfax. :)

Cool. Curious to see what they look like with a decent camera and not my phone.

Eighties Meta 03-09-2013 08:01 PM

I thought better of running today after I watched a few and saw them losing traction. I can just wait for the LSD then that way if I screw up and don't release I'm slipping I won't be in a frickin' wall. Other than I really liked watching the F-body camaros and late model mustangs running today. sure was alot of em but it was cool. I was really impressed with the subi that was running 10.8s or around there. FP nice job on the 12.8 and realistically anything under 14 is still pretty damn fast.

m4a1mustang 03-09-2013 08:19 PM

Just made it back home. What a great way to kick off spring car weather. Great turnout at the meet. Lunch was fun, the track was fun (sucks that Shahid struggled), and dinner at Old Stein Inn with Jon, Pat, and Ron was great. Thanks again to everyone that made it out... you are what makes MAZOC so much fun. Hard to believe we are in our 4th year of doing this stuff.

b1adesofcha0s 03-09-2013 08:39 PM

Honestly I wasn't that mad because I was having so much fun hanging out with everyone.

For the record I ran a 12.899 at 110.8 and 12.900 at 108.9. Third run I launched at 2100 rpm and had wheel spin still ran a 13.1** threw that slip away haha

I'm on the right.

There were at least 3 that I could remember. The G35 that died right at the end after running 12.5. Then it was a Camaro? that died halfway through and had to get towed. Then that muscle car that died pre-stage and had to be pushed off. :bowrofl:

its sad that most family sedans have more power then my car now =/

I'd like to say that fat mic added traction to the rear wheels.

Also, Kirkster: thanks a ton for letting me take ze KrautRad out for a spin - that's a badass bike! Now find me one :-p

yeah if you had stickier tires, or better track prep, a nice launch would lower your 60 ft and ultimately your et, but wheel spin is never good lol

The weather was too nice to not attend the Columbia meet! Met some new folks and enjoyed a great afternoon of cars and drag racing at MIR. Here are a few photos I took of the meet and at Capitol Raceway yesterday. The rest are located at the following link: 9 Mar MD Meet Photos by KaijuZ | Photobucket

nice pics everyone.. sorry i missed it. see you next week tho.

So after yesterday, it became apparent that the reason I couldn't figure out the breather hoses is because the shop actually CUT the breather hoses to make room for the factory baffles (lol).

I'll order another set - they're cheap. Pretty sure I can do the drivers side on my own. The passenger side might be trickier.

b1adesofcha0s 03-10-2013 12:51 PM

Great photos Jon

dmhenderson 03-10-2013 02:48 PM

~figured out how to do the coolant tank~
Won't get done today though because it's too damn nice out. Girlfriend wants to go out to early dinner/late lunch and I can't really argue.

It'll probably have to wait until next weekend because I'm in auditor training from 8-6 all week.

Just backed into a parking pilon leaving dinner. I pulled forward and gouged the sh*t out of my front bumper when the license plate was pushed into it.

~derp~

At least my insurance rules.

m4a1mustang 03-10-2013 05:33 PM

I should hit my headlights with something and claim it. :icon17:

dmhenderson 03-10-2013 05:50 PM

$300 deductable and they said they were really sorry while I was filing the claim.

MyKindaGuise 03-10-2013 06:13 PM

Hey guys just checked in with my parents and they bare cool if we use their place for a predetailing party the day before Carlisle. Dee can vouch its a nice neighborhood and plenty of space.
