On a DD or something that's driven at least 10K a year, a clear bra is going to look like crap in a short period of time.

:iagree:

plus most of my chips are on my hood above where a clear bra stops. if i ever would clear bra i car i would spend ther extra money and do the whole front. but then hate myself because i would see it lol

Not even worth it to respray prior to a sale. It's not worth it to pay for a professional detail, either. You won't get the money you spend back in added value.

Hill's postponed until Monday so I can deal with some personal stuff. Actually works out ok because I spoke to Suzanne and she said they would rather take me next week anyway.

jpkirk 10-16-2014 03:25 PM

dmhenderson 10-16-2014 03:29 PM

Dude, I got a question for ya, I got pulled over last night by montgomery county in silver spring for a clear (definitely NOT tinted) license plate cover, are they illegal in the state of maryland?

I know the tinted ones are illegal, but clear ones.. wtf?

probable cause to check out what a black guy was doing in that neighborhood most likely.

90% of traffic stops are for dumb non-legit reasons but just probable cause to find somethign actually illegal.

my friend says over 50% of his DUI stops come from something like a brake light, license plate cover, etc...

yea we have gay laws about ours too.

i got pilled over once when driving my grandfathers car after detailing it. it was because his dale earnhardt license plate holder just one that goes around the edges was too close to covering the registration sticker.

Here you go sir. Attachment 95732

jlw2546 10-17-2014 09:44 AM

There are alot of stupid laws but it helps with reasonable suspicion and probable cause to catch the bigger fish. If you ain't riding dirty there's nothing to worry about. Just be nice and say thank you. If the officer gives you a ticket and you aren't dirty than he's just an ***.

eastwest2300 10-17-2014 09:56 AM

Thanks bro. Im gonna take them off today.. Its pretty surprising. I totally get the tinted ones, but clear ones.. :icon08:

The law is the law I guess..

Anyone gonna meet in Columbia this morning. I have to be in Laurel around 1pm. Thought I'd stop by around 11 with the missus, go on to lunch somewhere and easily get to Laurel in time.

ZCarMan 10-18-2014 07:09 AM

Pat and I will be there. I need to get some Kabobs for lunch at Maiwand. Probably around 1030.

370 ZZZ 10-18-2014 07:33 AM

Great. Kabobs sound good.

chieuxuan 10-18-2014 07:43 AM

I'll be there
