Sorry I'll miss you guys this weekend. Good luck with the rain. But I guess who needs luck when you have scientists that know people!

RandyD 11-22-2013 02:59 PM

i think i'm out :( I have some carpooling to do.

eastwest2300 11-22-2013 04:19 PM

Im out, i'll be doing an oil change on the honda 2000.

jlw2546 11-22-2013 05:36 PM

I've never changed the oil on an S2000 but damn, if that's an all day affair I would just pay someone. Just sayin. Lol. I do all my own oil changes too but I would come up with a better reason.

Well, to be fair, driving to FFX from DC for a meet + lunch would take most of the day and it'd be dark by the time he got around to changing the oil. :p

ZCarMan 11-22-2013 08:55 PM

See you all tomorrow. I'll bring the Fiesta ST. Damn this thing puts out some brake dust.

I always say the same thing. Damn I wish I had a lift. I have to use 2 different jacks.

m4a1mustang 11-22-2013 10:52 PM

A lift would be awesome.

I have lifting the Z (And every other car I have had to work on) down to a system now. Only takes a few minutes to get the car up on four jacks.

Me too bro... My oil change went smoothly, its always nice to have that way.

StangerGT 11-24-2013 02:37 PM

And that's why I love a Jeep with a lift kit...

dmhenderson 11-27-2013 08:22 PM

I'll be there saturday assuming no more weather. Looks like it will be clear but cold. Anxious to get the car out and play with it a little now that I *finally* have it back.

m4a1mustang 11-27-2013 08:37 PM

Planning on coming out to Columbia on Saturday.

Have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

eastwest2300 11-27-2013 08:52 PM

b1adesofcha0s 11-28-2013 02:36 PM

eastwest2300 11-28-2013 04:48 PM

jlw2546 11-28-2013 06:04 PM

I'm in for Saturday. Will be my first time at Colombia.

MightyBobo 11-28-2013 08:06 PM

Ill probably come down Saturday. Been too long.

dmhenderson 11-28-2013 09:04 PM

I'll definitely be there sat.

H2O_Doc 11-28-2013 09:51 PM

I'm in if I can get my new-to-me exhaust on tomorrow.

Used Invidia Gemini. Price was right and left money in the Kitty for more mods (but which???).

eastwest2300 11-29-2013 07:32 AM

I don't think I've ever heard the invidia.. congrats on picking it up though.

You will hear it...although it might be tough over the two 12" subs.

Cristobal09 11-29-2013 09:10 AM

I have the Gemini, its pretty quiet. I love it though, no drone whatsoever.

Good to know. I had a 5.7L Tundra with TRD exhaust. From 65-75 MPH (basically all my HWY driving) it droned worse than my wife at the end of the month. It sounded like a B-52 (and I don't mean the band).

Update: installed. I like the deep tone, but slightly subdued volume. Meets with my approval.

Now, the question is whether or not to do intake and which intake to do. Mild or wild? Cutting through the BS is hard on this one.

b1adesofcha0s 11-29-2013 01:27 PM

Can't go wrong with the Stillen G3's.

eastwest2300 11-29-2013 03:16 PM

stillens are pricey...

dmhenderson 11-29-2013 04:41 PM

Huh? The stillen G3 intake? Not really. Even new they're only ike $600 and they pop up used on the for sale forum all the time for much less.
The only downside is that there's some cutting involved.

jlw2546 11-29-2013 05:14 PM

I'm working an overtime traffic assignment at new Tanger Outlets at National Harbor till 11 pm. If I thaw out by morning I might make it to Columbia.

m4a1mustang 11-29-2013 05:21 PM

We will be there tomorrow.

dmhenderson 11-29-2013 06:22 PM

I'll probably be up around 10:30-11 again. It's gonna be cold as hell (near freezing) so dress accordingly.

Incidentally, anyone want my factory undershroud? $400 and I'll bring it tomorrow ($1100 if you buy from Nissan).

m4a1mustang 11-29-2013 06:38 PM

Yikes it is gonna be cold. If we're not at our car we'll be inside at the Starbucks!

ZCarMan 11-29-2013 07:49 PM

Since it will be cold, is the alternate location down by Maiwand where we'll meet?

dmhenderson 11-29-2013 08:14 PM

Up to Steve but we'll probably meet in the same place and then quickly go somewhere else for lunch.

m4a1mustang 11-29-2013 09:37 PM

I'm not really familiar with the area, so I don't know where else we could meet. Plus anywhere else is far from the Starbucks. :p
